  1. Jay, So why don't you move back to New York? I'm thinking of doing it myself. Although, knowing what I know now about NY's club scene, I might get lost. Heckling bands...that's funny. I used to play in a band when I lived in Dallas. There was always some guy out in the audience who was like, "Play some Skynyrd, man! Free Bird, man, Free Bird!" That wasn't you was it? DAV
  2. Thanks guys. I'll keep you posted on when I'm coming. Perhaps we can hook up. Speaking of K, I think our friend Mr. a-tip must be writing to the board straight from Sound Factory. Ha! DAV Bermuda
  3. Hi all. I'm planning on doing some travelling this year to Toronto and San Diego and was wondering if anyone could recommend some hardcore techno clubs to go to in the areas. I'm looking for something along the lines of New York's Sound Factory if anyone is familar with it. Thanks! DAV Bermuda
  4. Hello. I'm rather new to the club scene and was only really introduced to it on a recent excursion to New York. I am planning on doing some traveling this year probably to Chicago and was wondering if Chi Town had any clubs that rivaled those in New York such as Vynyl, The Tunnel or Sound Factory. Any recommendations? Thanks. DAV Bermuda
  5. I'm rather new to the club scene and really got a true taste of how it is done during a recent trip to New York where I visited Twilo, Vynyl, and Sound Factory. I definately felt Sound Factory was the best club I went to in New York but they were all fantastic. I have plans to do a little travelling this year and was wondering if some of you would recommend any clubs to visit in Chicago, San Diego, Miami or Toronto. I'll check out some of the other boards on this site, but I thought I'd ask the experts first. Thanks. The Notorious DAV
  6. Twilo has better music and a better sound system in my opinion. SF has a better overall club - more bars, nice chill out rooms, more places to dance and/or relax, more people to trip out. Notorious DAV
  7. I'm very new to the club scene. In fact, I just came back from New York where I was introduced to the real world of clubbing and from what I saw, I would say Sound Factory was the shit. I like my music hard and I like my parties long. I got there at opening and stayed til they kicked us out. No matter what, you can always find an area at Sound Factory where you can be comfortable. Lights were incredible, huge dance floor. I found that the people were outgoing and friendly. More so, than at any of the other clubs we went to. The energy was very high at SF. It was a very cool experience. Notorious DAV
  8. We came, we saw, we didn't sleep at all! Big thank you's to all of you who made our visits to Twilo, Vynyl, and of course, Sound Factory very enlightening. If any of you are interested in coming to Bermuda for a party weekend, let us know, we can always help with accomodations. Thanks again. Cheers! Mike, Digi, Notorious DAV, Paul, Aradia and Carlos
  9. No, but I'm planning on it this weekend. The Notorious DAV
  10. Back2basics: In regards to your travels this summer to the beautiful island of Bermuda, I was wondering if your soon to be wedded friend needs a bachelor party or were you planning to have that before you left? In any case, I know a very lovely young lady who would be more than happy to oblige in providing entertainment should the occasion arise. I just thought I would throw that out there in case you were interested. Take care. DAV
  11. Well, folks just one more day and we're off to expand our celestial beings in the Big Apple. I still am not quite sure as to where the hell we are staying but I'm sure we'll figure it out. I am told that we will be experiencing The Tunnel on Friday night and definately Sound Factory on Saturday night. Again, look for a guy with a cape or a white guy with his hair in "Negro Knots". There's more of us, but these are the only two that will stand out. We hope to see you guys there! The Notorious DAV
  12. I don't know your friend, but practically everyone I hang with works for the Bank of Bermuda. So, I'm sure someone I know knows them. That's pretty close. Small world. I don't work for the Bank and everything I hear about it, I'm glad I don't. I don't deal well in hardcore corporate atmospheres. I'm a web designer by trade. Anyway, I must run and pack. Off to New York to do destructive things to my person. The Notorious DAV
