Alright, This just crossed the line. Last week I started another job after working for one of those failed dot.coms. Over the week I got to know everyone there, and I got the same question as usual. Are you gay? I'm not, I don't have the slightest inclination. But, I don't know why they think that way, or what made them come to that conclusion. I tried to break it down with them, but didn't get any good answers to work with, maybe body language... I'm good looking, work out quite a bit (slim, not meathead build), and dress pretty decent, so that might add to it, but that's all I can think of. Has anyone have this happen to them or know someone who does? Any input to remove this "gayness" from me? I'm serious here...

Whenever you lose weight, you lose a small to medium amount of muscle. Put 2+2 together and, yes you do. Just add more protein to your diet and you should be fine. Curious, as a girl why would you care?

Why did you stay with this guy all along? Please explain. What type of guy who, at 25 is still going to spring break with his 'boys'. You should have dumped him after the first time he went to spring break out of college. No self-respecting man is going to go to spring break more than one year out of college, and that's even a stretch... Even if I didn't have a GF at the time, and wanted some random fling, I wouldn't mingle with the kiddies at spring break to get it... I'd imagine you could boot a whole list of childish things he does in a hearbeat.... Thanks for ranting on about this - it keeps in perspective the bias I have to face with being 24.... And yes, NONE of my boys would ever do such a thing... F**king sad... Complete loser... I'd say to do yourself a favor an don't talk, let alone ever get back together with this guy, but something's telling me you probably will. I've seen relationships like this, and that's how it usually ends up... I dunno, good luck...

I feel for you. That's part of the reason I usually room solo. It's good you take that perspective on it, since its doubtful the Chicago cops will help you out on this one. Unless you've got family with them, or they have some self-interest involved with it, you probably won't see any of your stuff again.... I've got no intention to sound cool by bashing it because it is successful or catchy. I really don't care if something's commercial or not, and the few times i've posted so far, i've said that I do need my cheese! But, 'One more time' with its low energy and vocoder coming a year+ after Cher, (2 years after Basement Jaxx), sounded really dated and boring to me. Actually the whole effect reminded me of the music they play with the motorized animals they have at 'Chucky Cheese's' (A children's arcade). It doesn't help that all the promotion that they've been doing for the album really came off to me that -they- were trying way too hard to be cool with their art school pseudo-ironic 80s references and still, yet not, recluse image. Just belt out the tunes, and don't try to be Les Rythmes Digitales. I respect all you guys, it's just my personal taste....

Two words: Self-Fulfilling Prophecy. The only reason we're going into recession is because everyone is worried that things will fall, causing prices to go down, less money to be invested, etc... People are stupid, and this will continue for a very long time. Remember, you can make money on stocks going down, it's called 'short selling'....
