  1. I’m with lillizzy here, The Second Trip is not cheese! I would add to your list of cheese…. Sonique – That’s what takes me high And absolutely any Darude, including ‘Sandstorm’. It might have been good once but it is pure cheese now. In fact I had the misfortune of seeing Darude play live and believe me it was the cheesiest and worst thing I’ve ever been to. I didn’t think a dance party could be sooooo bad. He drove me out of the building after only 30 minutes. Darude = king of cheese!
  2. Check out this site, it might have what your looing for. I found it while "filling in time" at work the other day. http://www.nrgfromthesoul.bizland.com/index2.htm
  3. I know 5 year olds that can spell better then me. I've come to accept it and now I don't give a fuck. There's lots of worse things to be bad at and technology has come to our rescue so who cares!
  4. Have you ever taken someone clubbing and rolling for the first time and not had them love every minute of it? I’m just curious because I’ve introduced a number of good friends to it, and without exception they all had a hell of a good time. Some of them were friends I grew up with who never listened to, or understood, dance music and would never have considered setting foot in a club. It’s so much fun to watch the smile take over their face for the first time and see them jumping around to music they would never have normally appreciated. I don’t think I’ve created any pill monsters, but it’s certainly changed a couple of them…….for the better too. Is it possible to have a bad time your first time or for someone to not appreciated it? Assuming their with friends and it a good pill.
  5. "Into the Void" . It’s a true mountaineering story and the most amazing tale of survival you will ever read. Find it and read it!
  6. I would be a very happy man if I could turn up to work every morning at 9.30am! I'd be out clubbing most nights of the week if that was the case. Try haveing a hard weekend then turning up every day at 7.30am for a few years and see how you feel. 9.30 is like a fricken holiday.
  7. My absolute favourite that gets me every time.... The 'why did I invite all these people I don't know back to my house for an afterparty'. and then when they all turn up..... The old 'how come these people seemed way cooler 3 hours ago in the club?'
  8. DJ ScottProject - Thunder in Paradise The build-up sounds outstanding when you wasted. The whole track rocks my world.
  9. Here the way I see it. Although all the effects on humans (long and short term) are not fully known, it’s more than reasonable to believe that using e will cause brain damage to some degree. To what degree will depend almost entirely on how much you do. I feel comfortable (and accept the risk that I could be wrong) that doing it once or twice a month won’t do more damage to my body/brain than half the other shit we do / consume in our lives, i.e. cellphone use, alcohol, pesticides on fruit /veges, genetically modified food….you name it we take massive unknown risks on things we consider normal everyday. If you abuse something then it will hurt you. Accept the risks and use it appropriately, and you’ll probably find something else gets you before the e does.
  10. This thread is some of the funniest shit I’ve read in a long time. I’m actually laughing out loud……nice work. There's nothing like a good shit fight!
  11. I don’t know what to do, someone help! I’ve been married for a year and a half to a girl I’ve know for 12 years. She great and I love her but for the last few years our sex life has slowly dried up to like once a fortnight. Neither of us are refusing each other’s advances or anything, it’s just we don’t seem to get around to it anymore. She’s attractive physically and all, but she’s just not turning me on mentally any more and I think it’s the same for her. Anyway….enter stage left….my best friends ex girlfriend who is one of the most attractive woman I’ve ever seen and a really good sort too. So we’re all out clubbing one night and I’m sitting down chilling and talking to her and she says she loves me. I was blown away…..I mean this woman is sex on legs and although I kind of always suspected there was this spark between us I never thought anything would happen. I mean it’s poor form right, I’m married. O.k. so here’s where all the ladies start to hate me…….after trying to resist each other for about 3 months we both cave in and meet up to spend some time alone. I don’t have the words to describe what the sex was like, it was out of this world. Honestly, she is every fantasy I’ve ever had all rolled into one. We just blew each other away, it was sex on some sick level that I still find hard to believe, and I have had good sex before, but never like this. We were just so into each other. So anyway, we realized it was a very bad thing to be doing and haven’t done it since. It’s been 6 months and we both can’t get over each other. We move in the same circle of friends so are always seeing each other and talking, emailing etc. Now I’m in love with her in a big way and she feels the same. I don’t want to hurt my wife but we’ve talked and tried to do something about our sex life but it’s just not happening. I’m giving myself headaches thinks about what I should do. I love them both, one I’ve made a commitment too but the excitement isn’t there any more, and the other is some sick dream of mine come true. I know I’m a shit for cheating on my wife but then again it wouldn’t have happened if our relationship was fulfilling? Help.
  12. I'd like to get some ass while doing a line in the bathroom...where do I sign up for this promoting gig? hehe
  13. Yeah man, I get that fricken double post thing all the time! What's with that? When ever I post it never shows up for ages. In fact it only shows up if I post it again (in which case there's two of them) or if someone else posts something after me. It caught me out a lot until I realised what was happening.
  14. Yeah it sucks, but at least it was fully covered. It was parked right outside my house, like 10 meters from my bedroom window and I never head a thing. Then again, I was still catching up on all the sleep I missed while clubbing last weekend and a heard of elephants couldn’t have woken me! Oh well, time to go shopping for a new one now! Whaaaaahooo.
  15. I work for a bank as a Bond Trader. It’s a good release for my gambling habit, and when it’s quiet I have plenty of time to surf the net. Now if only I can find a way around the fricken fire wall?
  16. Nothing since it got stolen on Monday night! I'm walking everywhere. It was a Mitsubishi VR4...now it's just a memory.
  17. Another fricken double post.....sorry [This message has been edited by beaker2 (edited 03-21-2001).]
  18. To be completely honest, I got into the scene as a result of the drugs. I’d always wanted to try E and when some friends invited me out to give it a go for the first time I jumped on the opportunity. I would probably never have gone to a club or never really listened to dance music had it not been a part of the E experience. Naturally, I had the time of my life that first time and couldn’t wait to do it again. Initially I was there for the drug, I wouldn’t have gone out without having had a pill, but as time worn on I got hooked on the music……in a big way! At some point (I think between 6-12 months into it) the music overtook the drugs as my motivation for going clubbing and now I can happily go out straight, although I run out of energy by 3-4am. Given the choice I prefer to be rolling but it’s no longer a prerequisite. I now appreciate the scene and enjoy it for a number of different reasons, the main ones being the music, the great people you meet, and the ability instantly unwind after a week of working my ass off and party like I never thought possible! Dam, I can’t wait for this weekend now!
  19. Rui De Silva.....mmmmmmmmm love that tune.
  20. In a word...Yes. Anything you've downloaded is on your hard drive and they can't touch it.
  21. Definitely not enough information there to get all that worked up about. But lets face it, E isn’t going to be good for you is it. It’s a risk we take and like a lot of things in this world if you abuse something it will definitely harm / kill you. Everything in moderation and a bit of common sense will go a long way.
  22. I'm a weekend roller and loving it. Well, not evey weekend but often enough. I can go out straight but there' no way I could go all night or even half the night without some sort of stimulant. I just get too tired. The music just sounds that much better when you're rolling too.
  23. I’ve been reading this board for a while and am consistently jealous at the quality DJ’s you people get to see every weekend! I’m from New Zealand and it’s not often enough that we get the likes of Tiesto etc down here. I’ll be moving to NY in about 6 months and can’t wait to have some big weekends satisfying my Trance addiction! In the mean time check out the flyer for where I’ll be spending my Sunday this weekend. I hope you’re all jealous! Hehehe http://www.futureentertainment.com.au/flashed/linx_frameset_twotribes2001.htm
  24. Have to say I was disapointed with Global Sound System. The whole thing is just mixed by a computer. Some good tracks on it though. The bets GC cd has to be WET. Played it again the other day for the first time in about a year, and it still kicks ass. A must own.
