Skip Prive'. I don't know what all the fuss is about. Nikki always good on Sundays. Suite is good as well. Lots of arse. May want to try Cameo since it's new.
If you want an alternative...Mandalay Bay is sweet. Great casino. Close to all the places you want to go. Great beach/pool. Stayed there two years ago and would def stay there again.
It will cost you the same or more to park the car at Space and in South Beach. Plus you probably don't know exactly where you are going. Two years ago I stayed 42nd and Collins near where you are. Not that bad...I always brought a "roady" with me and had several people to share the cost of the cab so I didn't mind. Or you can skateboard to the bar like Funk would.
You should be able to catch cabs from the the curb. Most will charge maybe 10-15 bucks. DON'T RENT A CAR! you will have to pay for valet/parking on top of the cost of the rental car. That will triple what you have to pay in cab fares. Plus you don't want to drive wasted either. Just remember...it may take you a while to get into Sobe due to the shitty traffic.
I love Joe's Stone Crab (1st and Collins?)...but only the carry out. I think the service sucks there and they don't take reservationss. Gino's pizza for cheap. News Cafe (8th and Ocean) is good plus great to people watch. Wet Willies (8th and Ocean) for a daytime drink or two. Get the Call a Cab it will knock you on your arse. La Sanderwicherie - (14th and Collins?) for good subs. Try to avoid restaurants on Ocean Drive. They are overpriced and food usually sucks. 11th St. diner supposed to be alright.
Check out Cameo while you are there. USed to be old Crobar. Pictures I have seen look sweet. Nikki Beach to hang out during day on Saturday. Space afterhours on Saturday. Friday - Mokai? Afterhours Nocturnal Friday? Actually Sat AM. Thursday - ?? Cameo? Suite is not bad on a Saturday. Pawn Shop OK. Glass on Wednesday. Tuesday - Blue?
You may want to get bottle service at some of the harder to get into venues. Especially if you have more dudes than chicks in your party. You picked the "calm before the storm" but you will still have fun.
I love this thread. Do a search for Chuck E Cheese and you will find about 30 similar threads asking the same question with Chuck E. Cheese in every response. You may be able to find other info too besides the smart ass remarks. EVERYWHERE IS 21+ unless it's a special event. Try ULTRA for WMC.
Dates...Friday 2/9 and Saturday 2/10. This coming weekend. Honestly could care less about the music. Would love house music but prefer a place that isn't a sausage fest and some decent looking ladies.
