    Ladies READ!

i dont know how much of it is true, this is possible, but unlikely. like most products today, tampons have improved drastically since they went on the market decades ago. however, i once read an article about how rare toxic shock syndrome is nowadays because they have regulated the absorbency levels and they are always urging us females to change it often. some brand called rely in the 80s was taken off the market because it was shedding in the cervix and causing tss. so i doubt that today this would happen again but ill stick to my usual tampons during that time anywayz p.s. this is also why the sponge was taken off the market
  5. I definitely use this as a safety thing too. Its part of "the walk" many women do, especially in the city to protect themselves from anyone, including all the leering men. I have truly come to the conclusion that guys really dont understand how much you have to protect yourself or how often we get harassed just walking where we need to go. so please dont think we are bitches for ignoring those eyes....
  6. i love these clothes and leigh bantivolio's stuff is sooo sexy.... im there
  7. pantene makes different formulas for different hair types
  8. Shampoo is not something that I can go very cheap with. I use pantene smooth and sleek (the green one) and nothing else will work on my hair. That crap gets very expensive when you go through it as fast as I do since my locks are pretty long. I have tried using all those other cheaper shampoos and conditioners, but i am sorry to say that most are very crappy. They do not seem to clean my hair or condition it well. However, every single person's hair reacts differently to a shampoo so you may want to try the cheap stuff... it might be worth it only pantene keeps my hair looking like jennifer aniston's:D
  9. a friend of mine went to webster hall last night and he said they were charging people $5 to go out and smoke and come in again, wtf is that about?!?!?! thats just too much:eek:
  10. ok im not sure where i read this, so for all i know it couldve been on these boards and i apologize. also, i know this might offend some britney fans, so i also apologize for this now... anywayz, about the americans getting asian tattoos thing, i read somewhere that britney spears got an asian tattoo that was meant to read "mysterious" but actually meant "strange." she only realized this when some asian women began laughing at her and she began to cry:shake:
  11. i also have an ibook and i recommend acquistion as well i think i might try using itunes4 to get a song that i cant find anywhere else with a good quality, then i will be willing to pay for it anyone else try it yet?
  12. ahh i am finally done too! damn i feel so much better, i am gonna go out in a bit for a drink and then an early bedtime cuz i didnt sleep last night either, freakin test today killed me anywayz, congrats to anyone graduating, another year done for me(2 more to go)
  13. i think this is the date too. as far as westchester goes i know for sure that you can still smoke there for now.
  14. this one is so cute. i think its perfect in black b/c it would be too cheesy in any other color.. i see how you wanna pick a color different from everything else you usually choose though, anywayz good luck girlie
  15. i think the matching turquoise eyeshadow was a bit too much, even for j lo.
  16. i think this belt is adorable and could make a cute outfit when worn with the right stuff
  17. urghh... i think it was ace of base in like '93 i too wonder what i was thinking
  18. i went to two proms.. my first dress was a simple light lilac spaghetti strap number from variazoni (sp?) that i bought about 4 months before prom. it was pretty but i lost weight by the time prom rolled around cuz i ran track and it couldve fit much better if i had it hemmed days before i am still in love with my second dress and i wish i was 17 again when i see it. it was mostly cream with very delicate gold embroidery all over it and strapless. it was fitted but flared out just a bit, cuz i hate the princess look. and i wore really tiny strappy gold stilettos with it... getting the dress was always the best part of prom
  19. heyyy ........ btw- being that i am from new york originally, the oh my god its nyc! thing is kinda old for me, its more important to have a couple quality nights a week than a bunch of kinda crappy ones. and being that i am paying mad $$ for my school, i dont feel like wasting it b/c i CAN party every night of the week *pats self on back for the responsibility trip* but i definitely like to have a good time:tongue:
  20. yes and my midterms are killing me right now so i cant talk with anyone on aim (at least i keep trying to convince myself of this so i can't procrastinate anymore)
  21. sorry but i would just have to disagree with that one... whatever happens to exit is gonna happen so lets just sit back and see
  22. yes, this is what i have been seeing too, i like a little floral here and there each spring, but the prints i have seen have just been downright tacky. hopefully people will learn to wear them well by downplaying them.
  23. ugh i just got one of my bottom wisdom teeth pulled a couple of weeks ago. i have a couple but this one was impacted and hurt sooo bad. the dentist put me on vicotin aftet it was pulled for the pain so i felt a little better. as for the swelling just ice it on and off for about 15 each time. in about a week you will feel a hell of a lot better
  24. I think it sucks to learn about your significant other's past experiences, gay or not... the gay thing may freak some people out more because sometimes its weird when your partner has done much more sexual exploring than you, its like finding out they have done stuff that is not completely accepted in today's society (not saying its a bad thing though!)
