  1. I dont want to bad mouth Exit, but Ive worked there too and i never got paid either. Ask some other promoters that work for both clubs and hear their opinions. Very few people Ive talked have ever been paid at Exit, but I dont know everyone. In my experience Sound Factory has the most honest payouts. Ive only had one problem in the last 9 months working there. Drop me an email cautionpromo@hotmail.com
  2. CAUTION PROMOTIONS IS NOW HIRING TEAM LEADERS AND SUB PROMOTERS FOR SOUND FACTORY FRIDAYS SUB PROMOTERS: No experience necessary, 18+. Earn $7 per head on your own guestlist, and receive free admission, comps, and VIP priviledges every week. TEAM LEADERS: Experienced team leaders that either have a solid group of promoters, or individuals who are willing to recruit promoters. $7 per head on your own guestlist, plus $3 commission on your team total. Example: If your team does 100 people, you get $300 commission plus money for your guestlist. *There is only room for a few teams, so please, only serious applicants contact me. After two weeks of promoting for Exit, only 50 of the 1500 promoters have gotten paid. Why continue to work hard promoting your list just to get your numbers cut and not get paid? If you are interested in promoting for Sound Factory, email me quickly. There are a lot of people switching from various clubs to Sound Factory, and the positions are limited. cautionpromo@hotmail.com

  4. It all depends on what kind of crowd you have, or what kind of party you like. Do you want to do 18+ parties, or 21+ parties, lounges, or big clubs. I am hiring promoters for Sound Factory right now, if thats your scene drop me an email. Exit is always hiring promoters, but you will never get paid. Im throwing two new parties in the middle of November, if you are interested in promoting for a 21+ venue. Drop me an email and ill give you some more information, I could get you a guestlist at almost any club you want. cautionpromo@hotmail.com
  5. I will be at the water fountains on the third floor meeting up with some people. If anyone wants to stop by and say hello, Ill be there around 2am. See everyone there
  6. Where is Max Graham from, and what would I know him from? People keep saying how good he is, I want to check out some of his work. Thanks
  7. Woodstock 99?? Why are you posting this now, did it take you two years to make up this story?
  8. Scot Henry went on at 1am, i was right next to the dj booth. Peace
  9. No, Im just kidding. I just wanted to see how many people view this post, so we can see how many exit promoters there are on this board.
  10. First of all, this guy is a chump. Chris Von Erik is a fake name, and he just started promoting a few weeks ago. I went to NV and he has absolutley no pull there, and Ive talked to people that used his list and they never got any drink tickets or comps. The more I read this post, the more I think Chris Von Erik is behind all these screen names in hopes to make a name for himself. "Chris Von Erik takes care of you when you come to his parties." Which parties are these, I have never seen his name on the flyer. I hate shady promoters, its people like this that give promoters a bad name. Dont start threads under 3 different fake names in order to get people to your party, its tacky.
  11. Ummm, I believe he asked what top U.S. Djs make. No offense, but you are definatley not in that category. Top U.S. Dj's dont sit around all day posting on every messageboard they can find, hiring street teams and promoting their websites.
  12. Is this post old, I havent seen you post on here in a while? Didnt you do a party at Roxy a few months ago that failed miserably?
  13. Peter Rauhofer is spinning at the Grand Opening of the new party at Roxy. That should def. be hot David Waxman is going to be at Factory also. cautionpromo@hotmail.com
  14. Ill try to answer this as best as possible. The guy who spun at LL and World was Scot Project. When he spun at World, he had Richie Neale open for him. Project and Neale spin the same style of music, so unless you knew what Scot looked like, it was impossible to tell who was spinning. Richie Neale sounded so much like Scot Project, I kept looking at the Dj booth to make sure who it was. Richie Neale spun from open to about 2am, and Scot Project spun from 2am until around 4am. The World management isnt responsible for the way things turned out that night. In fact they had very little, if any, involvement with the promoters and the Dj's. Uriel, the person who threw the party, rented the club out for the night at a steep $20,000. The door count for the night was 1400, figuring in $30 per head and roughly 200 comps, the door only made 36,000 dollars. Scot Project was paid eventually at the end of the night, $6,000 for his two hour set. The World management wasnt responsible for paying him, Uriel was. So you have $20,000 for the rental, $6,000 for the Dj, and $3,000 for advertisment of the party. The party only made $8,000 for the night, which Uriel pocketed. This is why the promoters did not get paid, just in case anyone wanted to know. I love Scot Project, and I hope he spins somewhere besides LL. I hate their sound system
  15. Ill email you all the party info, write or post your email address. cautionpromo@hotmail.com

  19. I thought Lava Lounge changed its name to Eden? Maybe Im wrong. But if it did, Eden is soooo phat
  20. I honestly think that this party will actually bring Roxy back. After the last few parties that Roxy did, I wouldnt have gotten involved with this one if I didnt think that i could work. There is some great talent lined up, Peter Rohauffer the first night, and the club has good distribution. The last party at Roxy relied completely on the talent alone to bring crowds, and frowned upon promoters. I went there when all three Hardkiss brothers were spinning, and there were only 200 people in the entire place. With a group of promoters at a place like Sound Factory, three Djs that big would have attracted 2000 people. All I can say is check it out for yourself the first night, or wait to hear the reviews. But I have a good feeling that this will bring Roxy back. To be placed on the Mailing List for Roxy Fridays, email cautionpromo@hotmail.com
  21. Try Float, it is an awesome space with good music. The people are beautiful. Ill comp you in for Friday just email me your name and the number of people you are with. cautionpromo@hotmail.com
  22. I love when promoters start their own thread and plug their guestlist for the party they are promoting. For some reason, other promoters feel the need to advertise their guestlist on the same thread. Like the thread starters guestlist isnt good enough, or maybe in hopes that people just happened to overlook the other guestlists. Trancend, there are a lot of scumbag promoters, I will use your list if I come down on Friday.
