It's sad to see anohter club closed for no good reason. Admitly there was drug use at SF, but's that's got nothing to do with thy they closed the place down. These anti club laws they've come up with are just another way they're persecuting clubgoers and trying to drive the nyc club scence into onlivion. Holding club owners responsible for every drug sale in the place is ridiculous. No matter how much of an effort the SF oweners migth have nmade they're never going to stop everything. The real reson they shut the club down and all the rest is the govt want to stop every form of free expression they can't control and turn the city and country into afreaking police state. It's freaking ridiculous any way you paint it.

Hmm I think it's a bunch of factors, allot of people just haven't had much exposure to breaks. They got into heither hard house or progressive trance. And progressive trance is a long way from breaks. HEll I think allot of people would be shocked to hear straight electronica these days, and I dunno if thats a hallmark to how far we've come or how much we've lost. Lots of people don't like anything that doesn't hold melody. Now for me personally I like breaks, but it almost harkens more back to trip-hop or hip-hop for me, I can definately see a house relation as wel, but it's not as hard in the same way, and hey let's face it some poeple don't even like hip-hop or at least came to techno to get a break from it and we all know NYC is one of the hearts of hiphop. HEll it all began here so that's gonna take allot away from breaks as well.. I dunno it would be cool if we had more groundswell for it be cool to see it garner some more attention around here.

heh I don't think it's really all of the sudden, some people never liked him although I always thought he was pretty good if you liked his style. BUT I think you're mixing that up a little with people who just don't like the Roxy party. Although I think one kind of feeds on the other with some people. I do think he might have slightly changed his style though more recently.

Hmm yeah I have over 90 gigs worth, but allot of that is collections I don't listen to much, only around 3000 or so that I hae in different playlists..

We got bombed because a bunch of crazed fanatics were trying wanted to hurt the US, and if that's what you're so concerned about, all I want to know is how is Israel helping us win the war on terorism. I mean they/'re not putting any troops into afghanistan that's for sure, they're costing us money, not getting us any oil and making our arab allies nervous. I just don't think it's worth the agravation. Let them solve their own problems. THey seem to do nothing, but cause us more trouble. I mean why should it be our problem if they can't control their own populations? As far as I'm concerned that's nothing more than a dirty little civil war and I don't know why we bother backing one side against the other. They're all a bunhch of idiots.... Look man the truth of it is israel and truthfully most of the middle east in general is a little backwater...Except for the oil their it's barely worth our time. ISrael causes more trouble than it's worth and we should drop it like a hot potatoe. IN my mind their barely a democracy, and they dicriminate against their own people by keeping them in little ghetto's and not letting them vote it's idiocy and they wonder why the country is so unstable.??? I really just don't see what israel or the palestinians do for us at all.

What the heck are you guys arguing like 40 messages back and forth about this crap. I mean HELLO!! we don't live in isreal, palestine anywhere near the middle east or any of that crap. Who cares? I don't know we're bothering to send these envious in the first place. Let the israelies and palestinians solve thier own problems. We got enough to worry about with this war on terrorism. As far as I'm concerned all the middle east is a source of cheap oil. Anything esle is just causing us problems. I don't even know why we bother giving so much aid to israel they never seem to help us out in any of our overseas missions that's for sure. HEll we've gotten more help from pakistan on the war on terror then we ever got from Israel. as far aas I'm concerned we should cut aid to israel by half or so , ignore this stupid situation and let them deal with it themselves and just support regimes that actually have some oil. Seems we watse allot of time worrying about what's happening in Israel instead of what's happening to our own citizens. Israel, palestine WHATEVER they should take care of themseleves, instead of waiting for the US to bail them out of every problem. We should stop wasting money over there and just spend it on the war on terror...

I don't know about you, but i was never really one for great grades listeniung to authority or joining the glee club, Was the same way when i was young then it was cool to sneak a few beers when i was 13. Hey I've always known I was alittle twisted a little and I can't say i let it worry me anymore, better than lying to ourselves about what were like.. I mean if you're cracked out and you avg night ends at 5:30 may as well be honest about it. The truly depraved and sublime beauty all it's own.
