One word.....Xpander!

Last year....got in a line about 2 miles along about 9:30...bouncer says that we probably won't make it in by midnight. Paid off some ppl to let us stand with them near the front of the line and once inside was not able to move for the rest of the night because it was so ridiculously packed. Fun!

Why, why did this have to be at Avalon? After last year's New Years fiasco, i haven't set foot in there since.

Any ideas when Saeed and Palash start?

This too was my virgin voyage into Crobar. Awesome place! I've never experienced such a NICE staff at a club before. Not one single person was rude...all nice and smiles. Sander was great. I hope they grab more top notch dj's there, as I refuse to go to Avalon since the New Year's fiasco.

Nice! Wouldn't miss that one. Thrillseekers, Dumonde...I can finally start clubbing again.

....Vudu! I head out from Jersey and hit up Vudu at about 1:15 (supposedly trance is happening at this point). Hip hop still playing. I wait until 1:30...the crowd is grinding to Beyonce. 1:45 I ask a guy from the club if any trance is going to be spun and he tells me that "only about 7 ppl are here for trance so he (the dj) might mix in a few songs here and there". Goodbye. Suck ass place I'll never return to.

I'm guessing this is a promo for Vudu Friday night. Was thinking of checking it out unless there's hip hop there in any way shape or form. That true it's hip hop until 1am? Btw, link won't work for me.

I've posted this before and I'll post it again...why, WHY must hip hop be played in the same club as house/trance??? Now industrial/ebm/futurepop and trance..that's a winning combo!
