haven't been there in a while but years ago have seen women have trouble (later for the dj, not so much for happy hours or broadway video clips)--just have proper id, etc--don't give them a reason not to let you in. None of their parties are really sleazy/guy-centric anymore [like say Woof, or anything at the Eagle or Dugout]. Who is playing?

Tom Stephan's Asseteria cd - so fucking good, wish some of the tracks were longer but its so much fun.

couldn't make it til Junior -- early Sunday commitment that I needed some sleep for and had to do -- but Tom Stephan was so great, and seemed to be nodding to Junior's style with aspects of his set. How was the late part of the party?

I've seen a couple of interviews with Tom where he credits the (original) Sound Factory as a major influence, so on that end it makes sense. And he does play a fair numbers of vocals for his current techy/minimal/electro-y sounds. I love the old superchumbo sound and the new one... so good. Actually, the more I think about it, should be a good way to set up a killer vibe and transition nicely into Junior.
