Yeah, it's the party at Flamingo East. They said they keep getting noise complaints from the neighbors and got fined and shit. Whatever. Most of the crowd that comes to see me is from this Harlem crew anyway, and I'm gonna be DJing their party in a couple weeks up there. Plus I'll be spinning some hard shit on Halloween at Shelter, so I'll try to keep the hardcore alive somehow in this fuckin city.
And no, I haven't tried OE Gravity yet, but I'll be sure to keep an eye out for it, cause fuck knows I need it right about now.

My b-day is next Friday, and I've been DJing every Friday night in NYC for over a year now and I was planning on having this big party at the club. Then this week, the club owners told the promoter to get rid of me because supposedly the people that come to hear me spin are too insane. The club is blaming me and the crowd I bring in for its $10,000 fine and doesn't want me playing there again. So now, instead of getting trashed and DJing for the people I love on my b-day, I'll probably be sitting in the projects getting drunk off of 40ozs. of OE and playin cds for a handful of friends.

Yeah, due in three weeks and I'm kinda flippin out. I thought it might help if I talked to some other first time dads, but I'm not exactly the most normal person on the planet, so I was wondering who I could talk to. On a Friday night, how many of you would go to a club that played hard house, hard nrg/trance, techno/schranz, and EBM til 2am before heading to your regular hotspots if the admission was below $10? After 2am, the music would accelerate into hardcore/Rotterdam/gabba strictly for the insane clubbers that have a fetish for hardcore... just curious.

That's exactly my case right now. The girl I'm with now was never treated right, and from what she tells me, she doesn't even know how to love anymore.
Regardless, I've still tried to be understanding with her, although my patience is starting to run on fumes. Hopefully things will work out and she'll realize I'm not like all the other guys that fucked her over.

Now that I think about it, I've never lasted more than a couple weeks with white girls. But I had a two year relationship with a Native American girl, a six year relationship with a black girl, and I'm currently nine months with a Puerto Rican girl. Kinda different, I guess, considering I'm a white-ass German guy.

They finally had enough, I guess. The owners of Flamingo East have officially told the head promoter of FunHouse to inform me that they no longer will allow me to spin hardcore/gabber anymore on Friday nights! Augghhhh!!! That was my main release of aggression every week!
Now I know why Omar Santana and Lenny Dee got the fuck outta NYC. There's no more love for gabba here, well, from the club owners anyway. Seems the crowd gets just a lil' too worked up when I start laying down the distorted 909, and besides city fines, the club is also worried about the upper level floor giving way now. This shit sucks.
So if any of you still gots love for gabba, I'm only gonna be able to spin hardcore at my residency up in Harlem which is only one Saturday a fuckin month. I'll also be playin gabba on Halloween night at Shelter, so pm me if you want any details for either party.

Don't you hate it when people tell you how to do your job, especially when it has to do with music? The promoter for the FunHouse party I spin at every Friday nite told me last nite that the club owners wanted him to fire me. They say that the people get too crazy when I start spinnin hardcore and that they just got fined over ten grand because of noise complaints and shit. Plus, since I'm playin on the upper level, you can actually see the ceiling bouncing from downstairs when the people start stompin to my shit. Luckily the promoter told them that he wasn't going to fire me and that he'll just have me tone it down some. Guess I'll have to save my hardcore beatz for those monthly Harlem parties I DJ at which sucks since playin gabba every week was such a stress reliever for me.
