  1. Hostile takeover?? Actually ,she apparently just sets herself up at the "good" bars and whines, b*tches, complains, etc. about not making enough money when the assigned bartender asks her to move.
  2. Yea, I know bartender who works there with her. Says she's a snob and often hijacks the main bars that bring in the $, so a lot of them don't like her.

Oh yea, one of my fave chicks too. Only gripe (like many others) is that her tits are slightly unproportional to the rest of her frame (specially if you see them in person) along with the nipple misplacement. But no complaints from me, still smokin hot and banging
  4. Yup, $30 or $40 for last time. Only some of the summerstage events are free and this one is defintely not. Without a doubt one of the best parties last yr. Great weather, outdoors, lasers, good crowd, watching ppl climb the gates trying to sneak in.. only to get chased out by security. Defintely a nice change to the usual dark and stuffy clubs. Like someone mentioned already, the sound system could use some more juice this time around. Great way to kick off the summer. Maybe the organizers can get another top-notch DJ to close out this year too?
  5. Might be a bit far, but Montreal has some great strip & "extras" clubs, if you know where to go. They have some of the hottest girls and very cheap lap dances. Toronto offers almost the same, with a slightly higher price tag.
  6. Would you mind sending it to me as well? SN: Eklipxe. -Thanks!
  7. Can you transfer it to me via AIM or something instead? Thanks
  8. I'm interested, mainly because I was there but had to leave about 2 hrs before he ended, so it'll be nice to hear what I missed.
  9. Funny thing is she's going for a more sophisticated role this time around instead of the blonde bimbo airhead role she has been playing....
  10. Under the Part 2 tab in that same listing, it indicates that he'll be back in November at the Hammerstein after the record release event in October...
  11. Depends on where you were... in most of the city as I was walking uptown, I was able to make some calls and even receive some. In Queens however, it was harder but I still managed to call out a few times in the LIC/Woodside area. T-Mobile went out immediately, Verizon was on and off..
  12. Viet... Leanna Scott I think she did some porn flick a while back she was trying to hide that eventually leaked out
  13. Don't know if anyone knew about this, but if you have patience and stay until after the credits roll, there's a trailer of Matrix Revolution........
  14. Don't think the full set was recorded by anyone...... But there's suppose to be a DVD coming out for this event... http://www.omroep.nl/cgi-bin/streams?/nos/nieuws/2003/mei/video/110503/tiesto.rm That's a lil news clip of his opening...
  15. It use to so much better for cabbies. Nowadays, there are cabbies all over the place, some don't even speak decent English..But with all the new rules and regs, it definitely is a lot harder these days. As for the whole paying thing.. the city has no involvement in this. The cab owners are the ones who shell out for any extra perks to grab your attention.
  16. Anyone else catch this yet while it's in town? It's my first Cirque show so far and I was very impressed. Watching the special they had on the making of the show made it more interesting to see the final product. Those who have seen the others, how would Varekai compare?
  17. The problem with Bauhaus is you won't get in unless you have an fairly equal ratio of guys to girls......
  18. Hmmm, a few of my friends have been able to use the whole "guys /girls night out" thing to create some "space" with their significant others. For me, straight up honesty works the best. If he really does love you, he'll respect your wishes, understand, and accept the way you see things. When my ex used to literally call me every hour on the dot with absolutely nothing to say, or just to say "hi" while I was busy with my things, I just sat down with her one day and laid it out clearly. I simply told her something along the lines of a relationship is all about respect and being able to be yourself and feel comfortable with the person you're with. Maybe you can explain to him how this "smothering" is making you uncomfortable and interfering with things you want to do (hang out with your own friends, do some things in private, etc.). Even a marriage makes no real difference IMO. There are still times where "space" is needed from one another in order to do your own things. I'd say to just be honest and tell him exactly how you feel. In the end, if he truly respects and loves you, he'll understand.
  19. I'm sure the venue itself also has some influence in the way prices are determined. Yea PvD makes a lot for each gig, but I'm sure it doesn't warrant the prices Made has put up. I'm guessing that they're just acting on the high demand in NYC for PvD cause they know people are willing to fork it out regardless.....
  20. Snatch Fish Taco (for the dirty ones...) Abalone Puntang The Front Door
  21. You might wanna check out or pose questions you have at the forums at http://www.acura-tl.com or some website of TL owners. Of course a majority will be biased in favor of the TL, but there are some who will offer you the specific pro's and con's and honest opinions/recommendations about the car.
  22. I'm guessing this happened cuz PvD was booked very recently since he would be passing by the city on his tour anyway. As far as crowd goes, PvD will surely draw a bigger crowd because he's more known to the city (since the Twilo days..). But I'm sure Corsten's gonna hold his own just fine. $25 is a great price for a quality DJ and there are ppl who don't want to pay double or deal with the potential Roxy BS..... If however by some strange twist of fate, PvD also runs for $25.... then it's a whole different story.... Nonetheless, it's all a good thing for the NYC nightlife...
  23. Dim sum places that I can think of off the top of my head: Harmony Palace (on Mott St. just north of Canal) Jing Fong (Elizabeth St. just south of Canal) Bubble tea cafes: All along Mott, south of Canal. Ten Ren's, Saint Alps, and one other one I can't remember. But pretty much every bakery also serves bubble tea.
