Actually, I believe it was Apollonia that was in Purple Rain...she was really pretty in that film... I liked The Man With Two Brains w/ Steve Martin...

not sure if someone's asked this before, but i was curious about bad pick-up lines....actually i have a tie between two: 1) are you hawaiian? well you've got to be from pearl harbor 'cuz you da bomb! 2) i must be in the woods 'cuz i'm lookin' at a fox! okay ladies, spill it - what are some really bad lines you've been given?

PHEW! okay...now i don't feel so bad about turning 30 anymore...

tiramisu is my number one fave dessert...cannoli is number two...i sure wish i was on the east coast right now...they don't make that stuff right down here...and the cheesecake factory here in houston has a friggin' 1-2 hr. wait....wtf?!?!?!?! don't get me wrong, though...we have some really awesome restaurants down here...that may be why houston was picked to be the fattest city in the USA for the second year in a row...not exactly something to be proud of...(sigh)

shugabooga and stacychase at the fubar meetup last august... also met some other nice ppl: xpander, gothzane, spragga, hacker, dw, heretic, clubkat, rachel, DaVe... sorry - i forgot who else - you know, alzheimer's and stuff at my age... i think my sister who was w/ me met gabo...

i'm still trying to figure out what i want to be when i grow up...thought i knew, but...oh, well...just going through a phase, i guess... but 30 really isn't as bad as i thought it would be...back when i was 18 i thought 30 was ancient!

my fave gift was a silver crucifix on a chain from my husband... but my fave gift to give was that we got to tell my in-laws that we're sending them on a cruise to alaska next summer (they'll also be celebrating their 40th wedding anniv.) i also got some dvds and some giftcards to dept. stores so i can buy stuff for the house... i think i'm an older fart than ragga...
