Hi, I am from Chicago, and I can tell you Nocturnal will be the laughing stock of the beach! We might have given u Crobar, but don't expect much. Nocturnal in Chicago attrached the lowest denomiator of clueless suburbanites. They played bad Euro up here. In Chicago they only lasted 3 months before they had to bring in an outside promoter, to give them there only busy night. Hopefully they won't bother taking the for sale sign down. They won't have a prayer here.

I was reading the latest Urb mag. when quote " The foxy La house DJ Superjane member Colette.....etc. Now I know she moved to LA a while back but to call her a La dj makes my stomach turn. Why do we have to lose our Dj's. you can add Angel Alanis Halo Gene Farris Mark Farina terry Mullan ..to the list and many more who is next? why won't Chicago support there talent I know producing is easier in LA , but I also think they make more money on the west coast because Chicago clubbers won't support them. If a club plays house it seems no one shows up. I keep hearing that Transit is empty on a Friday.. Why? Dayota should be able to pack a house alone! Zentra does alright on a Friday , but Justin Long should fill the house. Crobar should be able to showcase a house Dj (not progressive house) on the main floor but they can't. Every one needs to step out and support these nights What is it going to take to get people out? every one shout some ideas out! Ahh I feel better now that I got that off my chest.

I just recently went to this place the silver slipper. It is sort of far away it is in Ottwa off ofHighway 80. It only had a $ 6 cover, full nudity , and $ 6 pitchers of beer. It is pretty cheap and the gals look good. Crazy Horse is a rip off.

All the people that thought Chicago only consisted of Division St and Lincoln Park will flock there. They will turn Reddog into Alumi Club, Borderline will be a big sports bar and Holiday Club is a copy of the Leg room(acording to the new residents). I think Bedrocks was actually a live music venue (and not a big one) so that would cool, but he might of mixed cities up, because I can't believe he actually played there. You never know thu.

I think he is going for his old crowd. Not so much the 21 to 23 crowd that Pure take care of. I don't think Medusa's new night will be about bringing the biggest UK DJ's in. It will be more about the overall party instead of just the DJ. Which is something that seemed to dissappear towards the end of Karma days. If you were to bring in Jojo and Bobby Pins to Pure at Redno, no one would give a rats ass. The old schoolers though would like it. Sort of like a blast from the past. We will see what happens
