  1. well I finally was able to recover a mix I did a while back @ the Monkeybar... It's all old classic house trax that some may remember and others may not... Nevertheless, it's a mix that has some some traxs that bring back memories of the old days... Now keep in mind that some of these traxs have extremely short intros hence making the mixes somewhat short as well... Hope u enjoy...

for anyone that downloaded this prior to today Tues. May 2nd then discard that set b/c it's not the full length version... I finally got thru listening to the whole thing and I noticed that I cut off the last 2 tracks on the mix... so now the new upload I put on the site should be slightly over an hr. long... it should be around 139 MB.

Its tough to judge the Philly scene against any others because of PA's horrible laws with closing times and alcohol sales, and age limits and so on. They make it tough for the venues themselves. Transit has been doing good lately with big time names and staying open later than 2, or 3:30 (which is how late 95% of the clubs in the city stay open). Shampoo's new Sunday party is pretty good. Well-known remixer John Farrugio spins the main room, and has been ripping it up. Power 99s DOC B has been one of the best things to happen to the Velvet Underground in a long time. He knows how to work the crowds. And starting this Sunday...the weekly foam party is back!

You are fool!!! please get a clue next time...

SOMA by far has the best Monday nite party..... w/ DEEP C and CHRIS UDOH (Tigerhook crew) and don't sleep on the $2 drink specials all nite......

  5. Transit has a nice decor, the system could use an upgrade..... However, from what I've heard they are installing several more bins in there to give it more power.....

It does have 3 floors w/ several good djs' spinning all throughout....:)

I believe that the mixture in crowd is what to be expected..... I know a lot of heads coming from DC to check it out and very knowledgeable towards music..... and of course the cheese heads.... but, it's all what you make of it.....

After all it's all about the MUSIC!!!
