1200's were first manufactured in 1973 i believe and i'm pretty sure that was before any solid clubs opened in major cities...so it's been pretty much Technics since the beginning....lol

actually...50 has been at it for quite a number of years...he's pretty much the "underground legend" in NYC....he has'nt done big venues...but i'm pretty he's nothing of an amature when it comes to doing shows and handling the industry...
but i do agree with Zeeker....50 Cent is pretty much a hit or miss with his album...i don't get it...he'll have a song where he'll spit some raw shit where his flow is very tight and his delivery is strong...and then he'll come with some wack shit where he just mumbles like he has nothing interesting to spit about....i dunno....before he got shot...he had one of the best deliveries in the game....but i dunno...good luck to him anyway
NAS is still the king!

I'd be Robbie Tronco, at any venue! I'm a Philly guy, so I'm kinda biased when I say that. But then again..the #1 selling house/trance single of all time in Europe is Fright Train...would be #1 in the U.S. as well if it weren't for that annoying Sandstorm. #1 in all of Europe, and #2 in the U.S. ain't too bad
i've gotten to know robbie a bit over the past year...he's a cool guy and really loves his music....he's a legend and does'nt really get enough credit for the work he does....
but for me....if i were a DJ for one day....i'd defintely have to be Carl Cox or Tiesto....just because they get the chance to showcase their talents in front of massive amounts of people on any given night:cool:

make sure the motor and the pitch quartz lock is good....slide the pitch up and down...check the dot indicators on the platter and make sure they are correct....check the tone arm and make sure the contacts inside are'nt pushed in (this is a bitch to get fixed)....and defintely test them out with some records
