haha ... haven't been to Cancun since Spring Break '99. Great memories, but don't know if we can withstand La Boom at the old ripe age of 25. Cyprus and Mikinos (Greek Isles) have sick reputations. Its a must go for myself and the crew. But, for this year, we settled on a Barcelona & Madrid. There is this travel agency by the name Contiki that specializes in trips for the 18 to 35 yr old. We are booking a package through them for the third week in August. Don't worry bro, been hittin the gym for a long while. If you have any sort of muscle mass, you'll be treated like a god in Europe. In Jersey, we look like every other guido (minus the juice) But in Europe, this is the facial responce we get: no joke! ..lol...

Nothing has compared to the out-of-body experience I had during my journey to this island during the summer of 2001. It was the most exciting, exhilerating, and insane 5 nights I have ever spent. I'll be there at around the same time .. maybe a week earlier. When I went two summers ago, I stayed at the Royal Plaza. Great hotel (luxurious, clean, top floor sunbathing area, fitness center). It was nicely located .. a two min. walk from the center pier area which is surrouned by restaurants, bars, shops, transportation, and of course, thousands of beautiful people. Regarding clubs .. you must visit each of these at least once: Space:Pacha:Privilege:Amnesia. Denny Tsettos in Ibiza? Do you know any more specefics? When? Where? YES! Guidos ......

I was in New Orleans on business earlier this month, and I was absolutely DISGUSTED with the scene. The entire Bourbon St. area is literally a trash dump; contaminated with dirty bars, dirty people, and this disgusting odor that engulfed you at every corner. This is merely my opinion. In order to answer your question, the place to be is on Bourbon St. (within the French Quarter). And, through my walking tours, the best hotel is probably the Ramada Inn on Bourbon. It is right in the middle of everything. If you are an attractive female, may God help you.

I'm returning this year after taking last summer off. Just the thought of returning back to Pacha, Privilage, and of course, Amnesia & Space, always puts a gigantic grin on my face. Myself and three others will be going in August (middle of the month, give or take). We stayed at the Royal Plaza two summers ago. No complaints. A little pricey, but, well worth it. We may consider more of a "clubber" hotel this time around. Where can I get an Ibiza Calendar of events for this summer? Does such a thing exist? (i.e. opening/closing/theme parties, DJ events, etc.)

I am coming up to Boston (from NYC) for the first time this weekend with a few buddies of mine. I am seeking some advice as to where the "hot-spots" are and which night(s) would be recommendable to go. To provide a quick bio of ourselves, we are not bar people. Instead we are avid club/lounge types who love house/dance music and trendy dress up type atmospheres (no jeans etc). To put it in simpler terms...we like to be in places where dance music prevails..Grey Goose vodka and not beer is the drink of choice.. and the crowd is dressed up with girls wearing backless tank tops with white spandex pants..... Your help is much appreciated. (recommendations on late night locations would be great as well) THANKS!!

Gropasaurus was a man possessed coming to my defense on Sat. night. He would of killed these 'hoods' single-handedly. You know what else, guidos definately stick together. These pimps who were standing next to me kept poking me and asking if I needed more backup against these thugs. The important thing is that gropasaurs had chicks all over him, even bringing him into their bathroom to admire his masculinity. He came out covered in lipstick with his shirt all wrinkled and half off. I am pretty sure ( as far as I can remember) that the playa to the marina is not walking distance. So, you may have to utilize your rent-a-car. Be careful with the driving, the european motorists are maniacs. I almost beat the hell out of a few of them for nearly running my drunk ass over. As far as airfare, I cannot tell you exactly. Only because I flew into Lisbon first, stayed there for a few days, then took a flight to Madrid that connected then to Ibiza. I then had to connect back to Madrid and then into JFK in NY. All that came to almost $1,000. Let me know if I can help you with anything else. Its good that you are planning well in advance. I didn't do anything until about 2 months before I actually went.

A double in the Royal Plaza (two beds) was exactly $144 a night. Split between two of us, and well, it wasn't that bad, and very much worth it. I would not recommend staying at the Playa section. All the good shopping, food, activities, etc take place in the marina section. There you have endless streets of restaurants, cafes, music stores, and what seemed like millions of club clothing stores. Not to mention the scene at night. At around midnight, this area on the marina is jumping with thousands of people out on the streets having their pre-clubbing festivities. And all this is no more than a 5 min. leisure stroll from the Royal Plaza. Best Clubs.....by far Pacha, followed by Amnesia, and Privilage. I did not visit some of the other clubs, such as Envy, due to the "brittish trash" that seem to go there. (no offense!) I only had 4 nights there, and Pacha and Privalege at around 1:30 am, with a late night at Amnesia, are definately the way to go. One thing, you must be ready to take cabs.

All shall be going myself again next summer.... and every summer for as long as I live! Again, make sure you go in late june, or early september. I plan on going in late June again. Also, surf the web all you can. I spent hours and hours gathering clubbing info on the web before I went, and believe me, it was worth it. I knew more about the DJs, the clubs, the club events, the openings, etc. more than the locals did. And the chicks, oh my, lets just say, I love stewardesses from Germany.

A continuation of this original post: Best time to go : Late June or Early September Why?: The locals all claimed that if I came in July or August, there are just too many people, and most of them are downright dirty. I went in the end of June, and, I couldn't of picked a better time. Best Place to stay: The ROYAL PLAZA HOTEL. Why? It is one of the only 4 star hotels with a great location for some of the best clubs, and the food/shopping location.

I went to IBIZA for approximately 4 nights 5 days at the end of this past June. (if I stayed any longer, my body would of most certainly shut down).
