There's nothing down here that even holds a candle to closing FACTORY ~>8:30 PM BABY!

Also, I find that the music is pretty bla, not enough tech for starters and for the amount of clubs that there are down here I've been pretty dissapointed with the lack of world class, international and nationaly recognanized DJ's; maybe 2-3 a weekend compared to 5-6+ every weekend in Boston, NYC, Hartford and Providence. I dont think there is enough music appreciation to bring them in, up there its ALL about track ID's and the Luz bootlegs. Ive only been here for 2 months so maybe its the off season or something but from what I have observed this sceene is suprisingly immature compared to the North East or maybe Ive just been to the wrong places...

I like Digweed, Danny Howells, Fred Numf( I don't know if I spelled that correctly!) If you guys have any other recommendations, please let me know!!!

Do you mean Tech house? That would be my music of choice right now. Very dark and driving with sick drum undertones. Pots and Pans sounding. LOVE IT!

Anyway...Welcome!...I'll be down next week, hope to meet some of you then!

  3. Does Space have a web site too? I'd like to check out the October line up.

Is the LIQUID club going to be anthing like Shadow? I'm thinking of checking out the opening weekend since that's my first weekend living down there. Unless anyone has another suggestion for the last weekend in September...

  4. Here are some sites to check out and listen to new stuff:

    audiogalaxy.com

    sicktracks.com

I'm really feeling tech house and there are some great vocals right now.

Here are some of my random favs from the past 6 mos:

    Revolution (Superchumbo)

    ***Rapture (Iio or Viiao)

Freedom (Boy George) not yet released

***In Your Eyes (Luz Divina/J.Peters) not yet released

    I feel loved (Depeche Mode)

    ***Flight 643 (Tiesto)

    We come one (Faithless)

    O or Overdrive (Scott Project)

    Energizer (Murphy Brown)

    Stand Still (Aubrey/Hex)

    Hope this helps... :hat:

  5. Seriously?

Do people get board and hop over to the cubbord under the sink, start pulling out bottles, reading lables and say "HMMMMM there's something bad for me in here. I think I'll cook it up and snort it/smoke it/bang it/bump it/roll it up in a little ball and stick it in my ear." :screwy:

Not that I havent had my fun as a result of other peoples experimentation but who thinks this stuff up?

Thanks for the link! (*cough* wise ass. I'm 26 today, thank you!) I'll look you up when I get down there and we can hang out and drink some ink jet cleaner and freebase potpouri. mmmmmmmk

  6. The only problem with heading to Orlando is that 1) I will only buy it by the liq and make my own, that way I know what I am getting. And 2) Driving more than 40 minutes for drugs would make ME feel like a crack head.

I don't do any other drug anymore and I don't even plan to bump that much but I want to be able to get it when I want it. But I'm not going to stress about it. Worse case I can stock up on my monthly trips to Factory.

    Thanks for the tips!
