  1. I would recommend the Weider Platinum Plus Crossbar over the Bowflex. I has digital control resistance as opposed to Bowflex's Power rods. It is also cheaper than the Bowflex and unless you get the top of the line Bowflex, you have to purchase leg attachments and preacher curl as separate attachments. The Crossbar also has a greater range of motion allowing for full extension. The only downside to the Crossbar is that it is difficult to build. It took me two days. Take your time and build it right and you won't be disappointed. Here is the website, but you can get it from Sears for $899, and is on sale there this week for $799: link Here is a good review of The Weider Platinum Crossbar, the newer model is called the Platinum Plus, which I have and love!
  2. It looks like a Platypus!

  5. i was just wondering if anyone, who listens to techno/electronica music, knows of the song which had IRL car sound effects in it. Also, by sound effects i mean it sounded like they were racing by. I just can't remember what the name of the song is, or where to look for it. thanks for any of your help
  6. I miss the sanctuary. I used to tape it, but since I went digital had no tape player. KTU had/has some great mixes: Boris, Tsettos, Vicious, etc. Thanks for the reminder! Blue, Green, Yellow, Red (so simple I love it:)
  7. Thanks buddy! Your the best. I didn't think I had a chance of getting the title of that song. Take care, John Frisco

  10. NY is so overrated! It is full of Yuppies & Fags. Plus it has become a police state. Get caught drunk driving and they take away your car--common. There are so many yuppies in NY it makes me sick. Yuppies really suck. Yuppies are all about Star Bucks, the Banana Republic and what NY Sports club they go to. Yuppies are some boring people. The clubs can get some beautiful girls, but that's just because of the amount of hot Jersey girls that go. NY girls are Yuppies! NJ is not perfect either. Way to many guidos! And of course Hoboken is yuppie city too. NJ is also way overrated and it's housing prices is ridiculous. What does all this show? That we have low standards, are easily impressed and Yuppies Suck!
  11. What about the Roxy this Friday?

  13. I have heard from many people that Zyban really helps you quit. I need to stop myself.
  14. SoundForge or Wavelab are the best. Can also use MusicMatch or CoolEdit Pro. My favorite is WaveLab Frisco
  15. It's funny. My landlord has a dog, yet no pets are allowed. This is the case more than not today. They are all hippocrites! I have a cat and if he finds out I'll have to move. Ooops hope he's not a ClubPlanet Member! Any way it is almost impossible to find an apartment in NY/NJ that allows pets. I hear it's much more relaxed in the Southern States. Maybe need to move down there! Meow Meow
  16. I never liked a job that I had yet. Rather be shopping!

  18. SoundForge 6.0 is good, but what I think is a little better is WaveLab. Let's you record as either Wav or MP3. Great Program! Try to download either for free from KaZaA. Frisco
  19. Thanks for your help guys! I am now able to record from my computer. The problem was that I didn't update my soundcard driver after installing Windows XP. Thanks again! Frisco
  20. I need some advice please. I want to burn my vinyl onto CD. Here is my setup. 2 1200s connected to DJM 600 connected to my stereo. I tried connecting 2 RCA cables from the DJ Booth output to the input on my soundcard via a stereo connector. So the cable has 2 RCAs and one stereo. I am using a Sony Vaio laptop with a Yamaha 16 bit soundcard. I have tried several different software programs including Roxio, SoundForge and CoolEdit Pro and nothing is being recorded. Any advice greatly appreciated! Frisco
