  1. my top five : acosta AVB corsten tiesto PVD any idea what kind of music i like? oh yeah... and notable mention... dj jazzy jeff
  2. I'd rather that money be in the hands of such talent rather than that of marvisi... the scum that he is.... i love exit .. i hate the rats that ruin the place... besides if ppl were willing to pay me a year's salary for a 4 hour set... i'll take it any day
  3. i dun get it... i thought that was a stang board... is it possible that muscle cars and imports can get along with a common goal in sight? eradicate ricers of every car group? hahaha i'm down... the funniest is seeing those macho muscle carstang owners crackin on a rice burning civic and when u look at their car it has the euro tails, wiper nozel lights, dropped with a body kit and aluminum wing... if it didn't say ford on it i'd swear it was a riced out civic... hahahaha
  4. sue the shizznits out of pnc and get one back for the home team... i'm tired of being harrassed by everyone as being a druggie (even tho i damit, i do dabble in them at times but really the music has nothign to do with the drugs) for the music i listen to, the clothes i wear, because i rave. shiyet i rave better sober. in fact i spin better sober too. granted there is alot of drug use amidst our scene, but the scene alone does not denote drug use as your sad story portrays. seriously get this publicized coz right now everything is going down hill for us.. esp. if the RAVE act that congress is trying to push goes thru (short summary - club owners and party promoters as well as dj's may be held liable if ANY drug use [read ecstacy] is found on the premises) meaning everyone is going to be afraid to spin our music and dance at a party anymore. WE NEED TO GET POINTS ON OUR SIDE.
  5. E X actly what i woulda said... i always get nerves before clubbing, now even if i'm not expecting to roll coz my body is like .. yeah right fool..i know that crap is going in me again, who are you kidding... but really. I was really bad for a while, i.e. clubbing 2 or 3 times a week and dropping 2 or 3 pills each night. it was like that for a couple of months... and yet my body never got used to it... granted i'd never get cracked out the next day... but it's really your psyche being a combo of amped up and nervous... coz u neve rknow what ur gonna get, u know what i mean?... plus i dunno if u try sneaking it into the club or jus takin it outside but i fu do try bringing it in.. that's alot of subconscious mayhem going on in your mind... and it's sending mixed signals to your body... but yeah.. my 2 cents
  6. oh my lord!!! egon and ray sneak in from the back.... i was already laughing my ass off. dat sent me rolling to the ground and everyone in this friggin internet cafe in madrid staring at me... sigh... i think that´s enuff cp message boards for me while in another country
  7. i see that in every room at exit white, red, rooftop, 1st and second floor of exit.. seen it at sf, roxy(tho not as much), a couple other places too... but the most obvious place i've seen it .. and from what i've heard is a very common site... Limelight on the second floor above the stage... a girl bent over the railing, skirt hiked up, and gettin another railing from behind!!! from what ppl have told me it seems to happen alot.. and when i went there for the first time - i see it with my own eyes... also saw a dude gettin a bj on that mini 3rd floor balcony in limelight... i love sex.. even in a club.. but come on.. at least try to hide it
  8. Friday - Nets and Kings both finish off their series... both underdogs as a number 1 seed.. both faced questions about their ability... both were not expected to be in the finals... BOTH WILL!!!! and.... uhm.... the NETS WILL WIN!!!!
  9. 3 yrs (assuming that's your lease term) is a long time. i don't know exactly how much the upgraded sound system in a saab is worth but ballpark figures to be about 8- 900 dollars and like another 3- 400 for the changer. take that grand plus into any audio shop.. even a chain stor elike circuit city(where i've been installing systems and the like for over 4 years) and u'll walk out with something that will blow your mind away... esp if u get the equipment cheap in chinatown... the key is to do your research.. jus like buying the car.... and major stores (circuit city, best buy, etc.) will take out the equipment for free and put back your stock stuff at the end of your lease (trust me on this one.. i hate doing that coz i get nothing out of it, but i have to anyway). as far as the hk systems are concerned... they are by far the best STOCK systems put into cars these days but they are def not worth it. GO AFTERMARKET!!!! it'll be like comparing twilo's system with say shelter's... yeah both are good systems.. but if u really wanna enjoy the music, you know where to go
  10. dat is one sick puppy.... i jus don't udnerstand one thing.. why the nasty puke green paint job.. unless there's something that i'm missing on this crappy screen... guy is fully sponsored.. a better paint scheme on a show AND go car is a MUST to attract attention for his sponsors...oh well .. still waiting for my day in the limelight to return
  11. glad to hear that it's a definite.. i've been hearing rumors botu some club opening up for a while but when i heard that it was gonna be crobar i got kinda amped.. i like the one in miami - has good talent and i've heard good things bout the one in chicago... as with any large club u'll get the bandwagon jumpers.. but i'll gladlytake ANY superclub that will either take Exit down or smack marvisi back into reality and turn it into something better than it is
  12. same experience here.. i went there last year had an amazing time.. don't really remember much but the women were beautiful... lighting was definitely kewl.. my friend from chicago validates diesel's view.. i dunno why ppl are pessimistic bout it.. obviously they're management is better than exit's (who they'll prolly run out of business within a few months after opening). i need a place to call home and i really hope it delivers. we'll never know till it's here, but is wishful thinking wrong?
  13. oh yeah and tek ur so right... sf prolly had 2000 ppl on the main floor and basement alone.. no way in hell that there was 2800 ppl only in the whole club... i had to make room to dance with my book bag (sorry to all the ppl i hit ;-) ) but yeah exit can suck my left nut for 80 bux... ticketmaster here i come.... BTW.. anyone going to hot import nights the day after?... wanna meetup and drive down together? I already have a bunch of ppl comin down afterwards
  14. i like positive thinking.... i'm one that's going to pay 40 bux in advance.. i mean exit caan screw us BUT ticketmaster can't :-D SF was 45 at door only and i paid that... considering that exit often bumps prices up to 35 for less talent.. a 10 buck price bump is not that bad... but really madness was maaaad empty.. music was really good (even theo impressed me for a few minutes - thought he only spun commercial cheese) still upset that avb didn't show even tho i knew hew wouldn't... i left at 6 but anyone know if edgar v showed.. jus out of curiousity
  15. too tru bout the whole mystery thing.. .as for myself the only reason why i like big clubs is cause i like to roam around... (diff rooms, hidden corners to mess around with someone, easy to lose someone u don't wanna be around, etc. etc.) i feel a bit claustraphobic in a small club with a low ceiling, esp. when it's packed... supposedly Gatien has a hidden hand in this deal... but yeah.. it's all up in the air till it happens...
