I was born and raised in south jerz and now proudly reside in Manhattan. I must say that both have perks... Now, I don't commute more that 10 mins. to work and there is always something to do. In Jersey there might be shit to do, but then someone ends up driving home all mangled. I do love that beach though... :D

I plan to live my life just as I would have before all this shit. I take precautions, but I am not going move or anything. I work on Wall st. Yes it smells and is ashy. I think it is a reminder that we not lose sight of those who lost their lives. I go to work everyday to prove to terrorists that America will survive. I figure when my time is up, my time is up. Until then, life must go on. I refuse to live in fear. However, I do tell friends and family I love them a lot more

I totally agree... and if I can add to your list, I think we did a good job of beefing up National security as well. I feel a lot safer in NYC now with the National Guard presence, especially when I go to work downtown.

There comes a point when you leave the honeymoon stage and get to comfort. However, you gotta keep it spicy. My ex let me know that he was too comfortable and man... he gave an inch and I took a mile. If you let her know that she has you, she'll walk all over you. You gotta play the game till you get to the Altar. Make her chase you a little.

Good luck!! PWC is a great firm. I work in finance and that is a big-five. I am surprised they are not on a hiring freeze like the rest of the country.

L/D relationships are doomed to fail. Sorry but that is just my take. If it is a short seperation then okay it could work, but if there is no immediate plan to live close then it is going to be a frustrating and heartbreaking experience.
