I was born and raised in south jerz and now proudly reside in Manhattan. I must say that both have perks... Now, I don't commute more that 10 mins. to work and there is always something to do. In Jersey there might be shit to do, but then someone ends up driving home all mangled. I do love that beach though... :D

I plan to live my life just as I would have before all this shit. I take precautions, but I am not going move or anything. I work on Wall st. Yes it smells and is ashy. I think it is a reminder that we not lose sight of those who lost their lives. I go to work everyday to prove to terrorists that America will survive. I figure when my time is up, my time is up. Until then, life must go on. I refuse to live in fear. However, I do tell friends and family I love them a lot more

I totally agree... and if I can add to your list, I think we did a good job of beefing up National security as well. I feel a lot safer in NYC now with the National Guard presence, especially when I go to work downtown.

There comes a point when you leave the honeymoon stage and get to comfort. However, you gotta keep it spicy. I think lust at first sight is obviously real... whether you can truly love someone from the moment you see them I don't think so. I believe that people have this dream of their ideal mate and then when they see someone they find attrative they tend to try to put them in that mold... I guess sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't. But it is not true love until you get to know what a person is all about beyond the exterior.

Getting set-up is a great way to meet people.... If you like your friends then most likely you'll like your friend's friends. My ex was a blind date for a Frat away-weekend. We spent 3 days in Nags Head and then 2 and a half years together after that. Life has lead us in totally different directions, but he is still one of my best friends and if fate were to ever bring us together again... well who knows!
