‘GLOW-Washington D.C.’ MOVES TO NEW SUPER CLUB ‘IBIZA’
Saturdays, Weekly starting July 14th 2007
Panorama Productions’ weekly Saturday night event GLOW will now be hosted at the new DC nightclub Ibiza, starting Saturday July 14th and every Saturday thereafter. Super club Ibiza, is a stunning $6 million dollar venue that features a $1 million dollar Martin light and sound system, can hold up to 3000 people and is an ideal home for one of the biggest and longest running electronica events in America.
Since it’s inception in 2000 by Antonis Karagounis and Pete Kalamoutsos, GLOW has been on the cutting edge of dance music in America. Residents and frequent guests over the years include Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Sasha, John Digweed, Paul Oakenfold, David Guetta, Sander Kleinenberg and Deep Dish to name a few. Antonis Karagounis explains, “The sound of Glow was unique. We wanted to bring underground dance music to a sophisticated, international crowd that is abundant in D.C.â€. Over the last 10 years, Panorama Productions has hosted the successful weekly Saturday night Glow party at such legendary DC nightclubs as Zei, Insomnia and most recently Fur. Starting Saturday July 14th, Glow will begin another chapter at the brand new Ibiza Nightclub.

James Zabiela and Nic Fanciulli first struck up a friendship during gigs in Asia in 2005. Their mutual understanding of each other’s music coupled with the fact they had fun and got into all sorts of mischief together made them inseparable. Throughout 2006 the pair experimented playing back2back, including New Year’s Day in Nic’s hometown of Maidstone, the sunnier climes of Miami’s WMC at Cafeteria and We Love… Space, Ibiza. All received rave reviews (no pun intended) and it was proof indeed JZ and Nic needed to take this idea further – and so ‘One plus One’ is born.
The concept will encompass a world tour, starting at Miami’s WMC 2007 with a One plus One launch party; the USA leg will see the pair touring like rock stars as they get aboard a tour bus and gig their way around the country covering the length and breadth of America with up to five gigs a week. Following this is a month touring the UK’s hotspots, a month in Asia and Australia trailed by a full 3 months in Europe centred around Ibiza’s summer season. James and Nic will play back2back together on every show. It’ll be a multiple CD deck and laptop extravaganza of layering music, bending sounds and twisting beats to one mind-blowing effect. With gig offers pouring in from every country on planet Earth and nine Festivals already confirmed expect more to follow.
In addition to this the duo has struck a deal with Ministry of Sound Recordings for a unique One plus One album. A studio mix that will be representative of the shows, it will include several bespoke productions by James and Nic including a collaboration between the two, personal re-edits and all the usual effects and daring mixing people have grown to love them for. A spring release, the album will coincide with the tour.

Top international deejay and producer FEDDE LE GRAND (www.feddelegrand.com) is currently one of the most in-demand DJ-producers on the planet and producer of 2006’s biggest crossover club smash “Put your hands up for Detroitâ€.
Having DJed since 1998 and produced since 2001, Fedde’s biggest success came in 2006 in the form of his UK #1 crossover hit “Put your hands up for Detroitâ€, which was first released by Flamingo Recordings (www.flamingorecordings.com), then by CR2 Records and, finally, Ministry of Sound.
