Couple years ago my friend and I went to see him in DC. It was one of the best sets i've ever heard. Much faster than his own music. Even if he spun one of his songs, it was at much faster tempo. Webster Hall was ok, but that's beacause it is what it is...

I have both and I love AVB's State of Trance on XM. I usually listen to the replay on thursdays from 4-6pm. From what i know PVD will be spinning from 6-8pm also on thursdays on Sirius. I just can't wait for 4 hours of first class trance
Also Sirius has George Acosta on friday nights at 11, so that's definetly worth tuning to. You should also check your Cable TV cause I get XM on channel 860 from Direct TV at no extra cost! -

wow, that's me right behind Mauro on the first large picture taken by ibrandon. It was an awesome night. Me and my friend were hanging out in the booth with him for most of the night. Too bad he doesn't speak english that well... Anyway he was much better than last time I saw him also at Avalon. He was much more friendly this time. I think his menager or someone got mad at me at the end because he told me he is canadian and I replied - well too bad 'cause my favorite tv show is South Park... At least we got drunk on that bottle of Grey Goose that was just sitting there alone
And I almost forgot the most important thing. Right after this picture was taken I got a nice good night kiss from him

If you don't like AVB and the NYC scene then move out, please....
Go to miami or somewhere. For some reason I think you would match there better. I love NY just the way it is and I love AVB for bringing a positive vibe that some people can really apprieciate.
When it comes to 42$ fees for PVD I personally think that an event like this does not happen every day and when you go to a club you still have to pay 20 or 30 bucks. If you don't think he is worth it then don't go. I bought my tickets the first day they came out and I wouldn't mind spending 50$ either.

Everything hurts me today as hell but it was soooooooo worth it. I danced 4 hours straight. I danced when I was smoking, I danced when i was peeing , just non stop. I climbed on top of a block and that was it. I was totally one with the music. Definetly one of the best nights of my life.
