It's called a residency!
That's why he gets paid the big bucks. So yes, blame louis if you please. You would have done the same. Hell, blame me if you want also.

Gonna be interesting.. The Cure has been one of my fav bands since I can remember.
ps. The cure's best albums IMO are "Wish" & "Disintegration", but "Galore" has all of their best hits, even a "close to me" remix that's on the "Mixed up" album...
I'll be droppin' by this early to check it out fo sho. See u there funk!

Unless I'm mistakened, Markus will open for PVD & you will continue to see alot more of him @ Space.

When I go to restaurants & order a corona from the waitress, she comes back with an open corona bottle! When I go to Crobar & many other places & I sit at a Vip Table- the waitress brings us an open bottle & serves us! How can many of you make this an issue all of a sudden??
This has got to be the silliest argument in the history of clubplanet!
The waitresses & servers are there to serve you. Their job is to bring you a bottle ready to serve. That's what they do. This "I wanna see the bottle opened in front of my face" is a serious crock of shit, that all of a sudden pops up along with all the other space hate issues!
Till this day I've never seen anyone prefer to ask for a bottle opened in front of them. But now that some idiot mentions some bogus grey goose bullshit, everyone wants to follow along buyin' into his ridiculous statement.
Our Bar Manager "Smiley" & Vip Director "Robert" are 2 of the most service oriented & proper people involved in Management @ Space. If anyone here knows them & how they work, then I'm sure they can back me on this statement.
aside from that, there's a simple solution to this problem. If you are one to buy into this bonsai bullshit or accuse us of doin' such a thing then please do yourselves & us the favor and stay away from Space!
Off the topic:
You know, I was talkin' to Louis the other day & he said something that made a lot of sense. He said "The reason why people came to Space for the closing parties is for the same reason why people in the christ era attended a high profile Crucifixion".
The Space closing party was a "not to miss" event & you know very well that the entire clubbing community & the who's who of clubs would be there in attendance. So you along with everyone else would flock out to space like a pack of birds heading south to avoid the cold winter. The funny thing is that the closing parties are very similar to the Tiesto/DT/PVD nights ect.. A large percentage of the people who attend these & only these events with a BIG phony smile on their face aren't the week-to-week Space patron.
We're thankful to see a packed house for big events like Tiesto/PVD/DT & the closing parties. But when we think of what changes to make or who to reward, the first people that come to mind are the ones who are there on a regular basis and above all those are the people who I truly look forward to & enjoy rewarding on BIG event nights.

The one complaint I still have about Space is that fuckin' loser, Frenchy, who continues to work the door. Otherwise, it sucks you've had bad experiences @ Space.
He Hasn't been with us since well over a month. Eric is the new Door guy & he does a great job. Greets everyone, very courteous and polite. The Space door has drastically improved without a doubt.

well don't tell anyone, but where ever I show up, I have a comp game plan all ready thought out, I prep the people with comps the week of the event, I hit them up on aim or throw up a post asking about it since I know 100's will read it, then when I show up I find the peeps I need to see, usually 2 out of 3 peeps have free drinks for me.
The real question is, who was giving me all those free drinks at Space for the last year? no one knows;)
The "real question" still remains to be answered as you said. However, you did help me find the answer another question.. I guess that explains the brown noses...

sure, I'll even let you borrow my car with a full tank of gas so you can make it to Space that night...
on a serious tip- you do often frequent a drink in your hand & you don't get them free from me, so you must be contributing to the cause.
Maybe you're not soo bad..

aside from Dade's funny comment...
One thing's for sure.. Those of you who enjoy privelege & wanna keep it there, I sure hope you feed it ($$). Save your pennies for Saturday night @ privelege cuz those owners gotta eat, the staff needs a job & those BIG djs need to get paid!!
The average Electronic music clubber doesn't spend soo much & it costs a pretty penny bringin' all those big djs. They are doin' it for you to enjoy because that's what they believe in. Let's hope you truly support ($$) them. The same goes for all the other clubs you enjoy.

Got there just b4 3am & the fire marshalls were outside chattin' with management & club owners. Something about a "code violation" & they were holding the door. I'm assuming it was the no handrail/stairs issue as Dade mentioned. Anyway, the door guy was pretty polite and apologized for the whole thing & I was off to Space.

You have to go through a couple of pages to get to the nightlife section of the survey.
wow, your right.. pretty weird stuff there...
I voted for "Rolscard"!

I think Street meant to talk about the cooljunkie spin off nite @ Space. It's no coincidence that each & every one of those djs played the nite of the spin off...
see www.cooljunkie.com for more info.
Dade, where'd you find that??
ps. Roland & Oscar are a duo now.. They are called "Rolscard"
