  1. hello everyone, im here, posted back about 01--03? I stopped going out to clubs and bars but still love the house music forever, i just chill with my bf now at the crib but wanted to see how everyones doin and say hi. Its fun to go threw my old posts and see how much fun i had when i was going to the clubs and bars and how stupid i sounded (god im only 29 and i feel old as hell) hope all my old friends are doing good..

  2. Personally, I thought it was terrible. First time hearing JP for me in 3 years. Before that, I was a big JP fan. If I didn't have good company with me , I would have walked out after 2 hours. JP's track selection was atrocious. He played a number of tracks that sounded straight off of a cheesy trance compilation. He's still playing some tracks that need to have their throats slit and buried permanently. GTI 2005, or whatever it's called, isn't house, it ain't techno, it's just straight up noise that makes my ears bleed, yet the crowd still goes bonkers for the track. Go figure. Too bad I was sober, if I had had a few jars, pills and a few hits of acid, I may have thought the music was halfway decent. I thought his set did have its moments, but those moments were few and far between.

As for the crowd, by far the worst aspect of the night. It was crowded beyond a safe capacity (I guess 'fire hazzard' means nothing to Spirit) and the floor was slippery from people walking in with snow on their shoes. I saw a number of people bust their asses or colliding into other people. It seemed like everyone wanted to throw down if you so much as bumped into them. Calm down asshole. For the most part it was filled with a bunch of degenerates (old school and new school), former dealers from the Factory days, people who cleaned out the local Walmart of hair gel, wannabe thugs, sweaty meatheads doing the Factory shuffle like it's still in style and a plethora of underage sluts. The whole place seemed like a bizarro world hybrid version of Growing Up Gotti meets American Gladiator meets Menace 2 Society meets Barely Legal 3.

Nevertheless, I did have a good time, but it had little to do with the music or the crowd.

On one positive note, the sound system does rock. It doesn't come close to Twilo, but it has some serious bass, with great clarity. I'd love to see what somewhat like Carl Cox could do on that system.

    :laugh2: lolllllll too funny

  3. ANyone ever do this, thinking about bringing some pills (6) on the plane. I realize its a stupid idea but just wondering the best place to put it.

yeah real good idea. Maybe you will be one of the people that are picked randomly and searched. :deadfish: I would say to put them in your butt, that would be one hell of a plane ride :spin:

  4. the terrible thing is you kids coming in from the suburbs and not being alert and aware.

Almost all of you have not had the experience of clubbing in the city back in the mid 90's when the murder rate was around 2,000 a year (compared to 550 now), and people were robbed raped and murdered at clubs on a bi-weekly basis.

NO GIRL SHOULD BE WALKING ALONE ON THE WESTSIDE AT 4am. PERIOD.

me kids coming from the suburbs is very alert and aware thank you.

  5. shitty words, from a shitty person..

it's unfortunate that events like this have to happen... i feel sorry for the girl that this happened to, it;s definitely a life-altering event and it sucks that there are people out there this pathetic.. i hope they catch the bastard that did this..

exactly, especially with the seriousness of AIDs and stuff nowadays, what a terrible thing to happen.

  6. not cool at all. girls you really have to be careful. try to always stay with someone at all times. Theres a few times where i have walked out of a club and there is this guy who has been there buck naked just standing in the street. One time he followed us in his truck and everytime we stopped at a red light and we looked over there he was jerking his weiner. apparently this guy has been seen before waiting outside clubs, naked no less. Its not a joke there is sick people in this world. be safe and cautious.

  7. hey guys  , i haven't really been out to any clubs since arc closed, I am probably gonna start up in the winter, in moderation of course, i am getting old. =) Besides that i have been working and at school. I dont post too much anymore as you can see.

    but hello

  8. Wow Very nice!!

thank you, its very big i dont know how i am gonan feel about it in a couple years. I copied it from pam anderson, he drew it off this pic. :hat:

  9. But people dont grow out of it like i said i first saw him 6 years ago ...now like i said before i was done with him and sf in 02 and 03 i wasnt feelin the music because i hate filler in a 20 hr marathon ...because i have an open mind i went to his new spirit party because i realized the man is now spinning 9hr sets and he has really impressed the hell out of me...my question to you is have you been to his new party at spirit? if you havent you cant really have an informed opinion because you do not know what he is spinning these days ...I also listen and go see other djs who have completly different sound

and style picotto, liebing, zabiella.sander k,boris,DT,george acosta, cosmic gate, joof, howells, armin, ferry, oscar g, edgar v, judge jules, etc etc i just like great music & you can not deny JP is good/great at times

no i haven't been to his party at spirit, and nor will i go to hear him. I understand that people always stick up for him on here, i was one of those people but years later everything that people had said to me rang true. I am out of that phase. people go there for the music? Lets be realistic after all i have been there many times myself i know the deal. After i explored the music and found out where more parties where and heard more djs, I couldn;t stand hearing JP. But i still loved the factory party for the sex and the drugs, and all that other type stuff. Years later I reallly enjoy the music MORE THAN ALL OF THAT, so i know longer go there. Now i really go for the music so i don't go to hear JP. yeah hes good at times but does not compare to alot of other talent. i know lots of people agree on this, that should say something. I am not knocking you for liking him thats cool, but don't tell me you have been going for many many years. If you had believe me you wouldn't still be going. It gets tired. period. ANd this is more then an informed opinion.

  10. She did say A LOT not EVERYONE, which I agree with. I used to be a big JP fan until I started hearing what else was out there too. Once you start hearing DJs like DJ Vibe, Danny Howells, John Digweed, you realize that JP doesn't compare to the big names out there. My Factory days were fun, but looking back the music wasnt all that great. I had good times because of the people. I can do without JP.

    werd :smile2:
