1st off i have to say DJblahblah is a funny analogy cause i know someone that uses that as a screen name- so LOL on that one- and as for the rest of what your saying- VERY TRUE- i dont concider anyone a dj unless they have borken free from the whole I KNOW HOW TO SPINN and that really all they do- what about producing? what about a CLUE on what you want to make of all this? what about learning and knowing contacts to the industry? someone told me that you really cant consider urself a DJ unless you have done well at as much as a RAVE or something that was so UNDERGROUND that ppl knew you were going to be there - and they came flockin in- yes isaid flocking - not another word for FOCKING-- but yea - i hear ya- hell - last week alone i got 4 djs sending me their demos from in or outta state- just so i can review it- they all sucked- oops i dont really mean that- its just that you can tell they have ALOT of learning to get under their belt- a while ago - this one cat told me he was a dj and he had only REALLY been spinning for a month- iwas the one that showed him what to buy at the store- then all of a sudden a month later- he wants me to set him up a ta club- WTF - r u kidding? when the night came- he relized what it really takes and he frozzzzzzzzzze big time- so on one hand - i understand completely- but i do give credit to the others that are using all the meaningful time to do what it takes to get good - or at least give it an undying shot-
