We are going upscale, adult crowd.. Trance won't simply work.. It's a business decision... And this time around, none of the Murk boys are part of our plans. Oscar told us he'd certainly work with us again, but this time, for this particular business plan, we are going with a differnt dj.. a dj, you are gonna say.... "WOW! I never thought of that"

And no one has a clue who the djs are, even guyman doesn't.. Only I and the two djs.. Thats right, two of them.

    Craig Demo maybe?

And yes, I'm not perfect. I drink too much, make free with women, and treat people like shit. My apartment is a mess, my walls need a paintjob, and I haven't cleaned my bathroom in a month. I have a horrible diet, I'm inconsiderate, rude, prejudiced, uncouth, and otherwise barbaric.

But I enjoy life and am happy with myself, so go fuck yourself with a baseball bat.

You forgot about your harry ass fuckin' arms. :balls:

  3. They all ready got the Strip club thing hooked up. They are looking more for a place to hang first and drink. They def. want to get a table. Voodoo Lounge sounds good so far.

The music really isn't an issue. They just want a place that will be packed with people.

    Any other recommendations?

    i just don't understand it.

it is the most over rated and poorly organized party on the planet i think. the people that do this party need to go over to europe and take lessons from them on how to throw a REAL dance music festivel.

it's over priced...$75 for that has got to be the biggest waist of money ever.

it's over booked. half the talant booked doesn't even show up. and those that do sometimes don't even get to play because there just isn't enough time for them. the one's that do play only get to play between 30 minute and an hour sets if that.

the talent booked in general isn't all that impressive. out of the 150 or whatever dj's booked MAYBE 30 of them are even worth seeing and to pay $75 + to see them play for 30 minutes to an hour is completely pointless and a waist.

it's VERY poorly organized. the set times are ALWAYS changed from minute to minute based on whether one dj or another shows up or not or is late or early. the stages that are advertised are not always the stages that are there and talent are always being moved from one place to another without any notice to the crowd.

the people that run the event are complete and total assholes and don't give a shit about anything except filling their pockets with money.

hmmm come to think of it, i can't think of one good thing about that party. not one!

What if Chloe plays? Will you show up then?

    :D

I'll give you a hint only one black qb has won the superbowl and that was doug williams, who played like a pocket passsing white qb, he has zero mcnab or kordell or vick in him.

Mcnabb is over rated and him being black does help him wiht the press....

And the painkiller thing, Brett Farve was hooked on them, but no one gave a fuck, so now a guy who speaks the true and talks about race is hung because he's white...

Rush was the best addition to that show this year, i hope he comes back, and the fact he is deaf just shows you how sharp the guy really is...

I guess that means Dan Marino was over rated? Well, he never did win a super bowl.

Btw, I thought Rush was good on the show. I just think that comment was a bit over the top.

  6. If OG wants the patio after Roland is done, give it to him. Then try someone like Edgar or Stryke on the inside. If OG does not want to play outside every weekend then try and get a guest DJ for every week. See how the people react to different guest DJ's. Someone is bound to stick out. Jimmy T comes to mind.

No Bruce Wilcox? No Mike Sharpe? No Daydreamin'? No Ken Coleman? No Thomas Penton (AKA - DJ PEZ)? These were the residence. The most well know of the local DJs who can call themselves residence. All of these people still DJ (yes even Bruce) and some of them even have decent careers. I don't know what you guys are thinking'! Did you even think to ask?

You guys have no business doing this party and attaching "The Edge" name to it in any way!!!!

There are so many people (myself included) who were part of this chapter in South Florida nightlife and whom you have conveniently left out. Bruce Wilcox, Jason Moore, and Myself were the promoters of that party. We started it, we built it from nothing to record breaking numbers, and when it started to die down we were out. Mike Sharpe took over from that point and breathed 2 more years into it's life span.

I know you could have contacted Bruce, Mike, or myself about coordinating this party and giving it the credibility needed to truly call it an Edge event, but our phones never rang. I have NO PMs in my box! You know my roommate so you must know how to get hold of me, and everyone knows where Bruce works.

    THIS IS WEAK!

no way does space even compare to the size of sound factory or exit

The size of the club does not matter. And don't compare EXIT and SF to Space. They are not even on the same ballfield. Space is known worldwide as being one the best clubs in the world. While some might not agree with that, there are a crap load who do.

Also, the old Space blows away Space34.

  9. I see your point but knowing them the way they are, I can see them pulling some peoples leg with this one. Plus, them bringing down the website for one day won't really hinder their business.

All they are doing right now is causing some people to panic.

I'm just really skeptical with this line:

Check back tomorrow as we will have a full press release prepared for everyone.

Whats the point in stating something one day only to then have a "full press release" the next day. Honestly look at what day it is. If you look at the GU board they are pulling a prank on there also. Just my 2 cents. Lets just hope that it is a prank.
