i have this exact cd bought it in '99. Its called Hardcore NYC 2, mixed by DJ XTC. On the cd itself there is a picture of a factory with smoke coming out of it and says hardcore volume II mixed by DJ XTC on it, great cd from back in the day. I keep it safe and have backups just for the reason your going through. on the back bottom left corner says : Made in the UK for the compakt disk factory, London, England

I havn't been here on CP in a very long time and just want to send out my condolences to family and friends. I've known Zee for a short while but I'm glad I got to know her through the CP family. She was always nice to me and always had a smile on her face when I would see her. These are the memories I will remember, she will be missed, RIP! -Jasen

Spirit on saturdays w/ Jonathan Peters would be good for some Tech & house but last night was his last night of his residency. Check out Crobar on fridays and saturdays for guest spots.

It was my first time out listening to Morales live and was very disappointed & went for the soul purpose & anticipation of hearing good music. I've heard him on several cd's that i liked which encouraged me to check him out so i'd definitely check him out again given the chance. i saw several peeps that i havn't seen in a while so it was all good going out.

They r also filming for this in Bayonne where they knocked down the junior little league field(completely leveled) and built a gas station/garage to only blow it up for the movie and after filming they are paying to rebuild the little league field FOR THE KIDS!

I dont see what all the hype is about this place. It's still Riverstreet but with a facelift. The system is not so great. Good crowd? You could have fooled me!

I pass by Studio 9 a few times a day during my work day on the road and there are always people there working on the place. So I would say its going to open eventually.

Hunka Bunka Saturdays for a fun pregame when it closed at 3am and than right to SF!

U got that right pal. i tried going to Spirit last night and that entire neighborhood was mobbed with club goers and traffic. I circled the block spirit is on for about an hour or more looking for parking. all the lots were full. The line for crobar was packed which is right around the block, the new scores is right next to crobar. Also u have club Marque right off the corner by Spirit and club Quo which is also in that area. Theres about 6 - 8 spots to check out right in that one area and they were all packed. I couldn't believe the amount of people and traffic in that area on a regular summer weekend. Unfortunately i didn't get into Spirit, damn i didn't even get out of my car except for one time to read a street parking sign to see if i was able to park there. I gave up and bounced but I'll be back without question. Oh yeah, the hell with the shore i've barely been down there and i have a summer house in belmar. I'll be back and forth for the duration of the summer but come fall/winter the city is the spot. Honestly the city was always the spot.

from what i heard they are putting in a new system preferable a phazon not because of JP but just planned putting it in and with JP coming there soon will be a great match. Honestly Spirit needs an upgrade cuz when i went there i thought the system sucked. I stayed up in the balcony most of the night cuz when i first got there and hung out on the main floor my ears were bleeding it was so high pitched and no bass.

I had my share of afterhours in the past. Yeah its fun an all but who cares. I think having a 7am closing is great. JP from 11 - 7am. Thats an 8 hour set instead of a 16 hour dragging set that has ishloads of filler music. 8 good hours of good music. Spirit you have to dress presentable and people will get turned down at the door which is good to keep out the meathead sweaty azz crowd. Spirit is a great room thats not too big or small with great acoustics which will benefit this new system they are getting installed.

Only thing sleaside has going is the nightlife(clubs, bars, boardwalk) Belmar +'s: beach, day parties and afterhour parties at the house & a broad area of summer house rentals near the beach which enables you to roam around the hood to meet new peeps and drop by other house parties.
