  1. There are some people who classify hip-hop as being "ghetto" and saying "oh go to that club and you'll get stabbed or shot"....well, in the same respect I've seen people overdose at a house party at Soun Factory and other clubs....Both genres of music have positives and negatives....it's what YOU prefer.

I am a Hip-Hop DJ but I also play House; and Im not talking commercial house, I mean deep, dark, tribal, hard, trance, you name it.......

Hip Hop has "crossed over" in the last 10 years and continues to do so but everything happens in cycles so i am sure there will be a time where hip-hop will be more underground and house will emerge ....I think thats why I appreciate things like the WMC.....it's all about house/dance music....no hip hop allowed....and I say that being a hip hop DJ.....I just grew up on Freestyle and Dance along with Rock, Heavy Metal and Old School....so I appreciate it all.....But the true fact is Hip Hop is more commercialized.....although I bet you wouldn't see a Hip Hop DJ sell out a 70,000 seat arena just to play music....BUT Tiesto does.....so House has a following......

    DON'T HATE.....APPRECIATE!!!!!!

  2. This really wasn't classified as a "westchester" club but Streets North or as many remember it....POLO'S, was the place to be in the mid-late 90's.

This was a club that people from westchester, Putnam, Rockland, the city and Conn. went to....unfortunately the building burned down recently but i will always have some great clubbin memories there......besides the fact that it did get ghetto in the end....that spot had the sickest vibe in it.

Danny Bones use to tear it up on thursday college nights.

Streets North......and yes there was a Streets in New Rochelle....owned by the same people.....Streets in New Ro was then Deep and is now Sterling.

  3. I have been to Tempts many times in the past 7 years but last night was in fact the best.....all around. The vibe, energy, memories and most of all.....the MUSIC.

If you weren't there then you really missed an amzing night that will always be remembered and talked about.

Once the Relentless keys came on, you just knew the rest of the night was gonna be banger after banger....and it was.

NO club will ever compare to a party like that!

I'm glad I made the 2 hour trip down.

And Denny.....you were ON POINT the whole night bro.....from 8:30 when I got in to 4am....Great Job!!!!!

    TEMPTATIONS!!!!!

  4. Attn: Headpusher

1st off.....to answer your rediculous question, YES I am a DJ......2nd....I don't constantly BEG for tracks......so don't get it twisted.......last I checked, this board was for things lke posting tracks and asking about new tracks.....I am in radio, I produce, I spin at clubs......and I KNOW this is a new track....which I have now and oh wait....Camillo rocked it for the first time this past saturday......and he's on HOT 97.....

Damm....took me 3 dayd to get.......

And if I say please and thank you when asking for a track, it's because I have RESPECT for the people on this board who may help me out......with that being said........Im done with you.....Have a nice day

  5. This was total publicity......all to sell more albums.

And thats right.....to do this on the anniv. of BIG's death to me is more of an insult than respect......but this what the record/music industry does to the public.......and people fall for it....

THIS IS BIGGIE'S DAY WHERE WE CELEBRATE HIS LIFE AND LEGACY.......let 50 and Game do their beef squashing another day!

  6. I heard Envy play it on Hot 97 sunday.....it was #18 on his countdown but he never i.d. the track.......

It's def. Diddy and he saying something about "run this city" in the hook

If anyone can find this and send it to me that would be great......Much appreciated!!!!!

Also, Don Omar has a new reggaeton track that DJ Camillo has been rockin.........its an exclusive and I def. need it too........chorus is like.....Baile, Dile.......sick record(its not the dale rmx and its not dile) something brand new.

Anyway, if anyone can hit me off with any of these two tracks that would be great......I appreciate it!

Thats the list so far......feel free to post your own.....ideas are appreciated but I think this is a good start!

  9. ok....first off, Star and Bucwild are coming back to NYC......BUT.....on Power 105.1......their shows are being syndicated from Power 104.1(hartford) to other stations and on January 17, 2005.....Power 105 will jump on it.....Ed Lover is moving to middays (stupid move for him)

DJ Enuff and DJ Camilo are in fact the HOTTEST radio DJ's in my opinion with Mr. Cee a close 2nd! Flex 3rd.

But all in all, HOT 97 has the sickest lineup (not including the wack morning show) on the radio today.

I spin on 2 TOP 40 radio stations and respect and look up to the skills that Enuff and Camilo have.......I got kinda the same style.......

    ITS THE HEAVY HITTER HOUR............SUCKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!

  10. OK...the remix is OK....BUT...lil john needs to STOP...I repeat......STOP....using the keyboard riff sound that is in all his other trax....however that is signature lil john just like back when Swiss was doing his thing with Jay and the Ruff Ryders.

Em's verse = BIG disappointment....For the amount of skills that em has, you would think that was an amateur rap.

Mase's verse = nice...that is vintage Mase....not that welcome back shit he did. He's also on the Jesus Walks remix and his verse is tight.....He's back to his old ways.

Remy's verse...YES, its on the Hot 97 version of the remix but the one thats out, it's not. Anyway...her verse is bannanas!!!!! She's better than most guy rappers right now and she's a class act on top of it....I had a chance to meet her at our radio station concert and she's the coolest to chill with.

OVERALL -- could've been better but it's lil john so this is what we get.

  11. Something's Goin' On - Todd Terry f/ Jocelyn Brown

Just a Freak - Crystal Waters f/ Dennis Rodman

The Way - Funky Green Dogs

Kiss You All Over - Johnny Vicious Remix

Share The Love - Andrea Martin

The Lover That You Are (original version) - Pulse

That's it for now....I have never heard some of those yet so it would be a real treat.

    Thanks Denny.....you the man!!!!!!!!
