  1. Well hi kids, I am a newbie to this forum so be nice and say hello. And I'm not even from the States, I'm from London, but now I'm a camel jockey in the desert. Just have to say it's fucking cool to hear your comments on the genius dance deconstructor who is Sven Vath. The guy just sends electricity across the floor every time he's on. If you're travelling through Europe check out the Cocoon night at U60311 in Frankfurt......(Homer Simpson drool) - you'll never want to leave. Remember - 17th June, grand opening of Coccon @ Amnesia in Ibiza. See ya there
  2. Shit, this is going to sound gross, but it's true, honest guv'nor. I'd occasionally do the cloakroom at Turnmills in London while I was a student. One night this chick goes into premature labour! Fuck knows what she was doing mixing on the dancefloor, but anyhow the paramedics managed to get to her in time and the baby was born okay. Let's just say that the after-birth is a bitch to get out of leather seats.......
  3. If you're interested, check out his Friday night broadcast on Kiss http://www.kiss100.com/ 12am-2am GMT And of course, if anybody's ever in London get you arses down to Bedrock, Digger's very own night, and the best excuse to take a sicky on Friday. http://www.bedrock.org.uk/bedrock.html
  4. Awww, you lucky kids. Not fair! The last two DJs I got messy with back in London before they shipped me out to the middle east to become a camel jockey. Have fun:tongue:
  5. Nah, I'm British, but as I screwed things up so much back home my company decided to send me somewhere that I could do no harm, te he. so anyway, it's great being a camel jockey, ha ha. Anyway, back to your question. I spent the summer back in '96 driving across the states. And yes, most places I went were pretty damn stict when it came to alcohol (I got asked for my passport most time (I was over 21, luckily)), but you should definitely try and get fake ID, preferably a driving licence. The ironic thing is though, you can easily pick up a gun or class As anywhere. Is there something wrong there?!
  6. You haven't been trying that sextasy stuff have you? In fact, does anybody have any tales about that?
  7. That's true LL82, but shaving your bolloxs can be a life and death experience, especially putting your faith in someone else:eek: Can be very sexy though....mmmmm, all that shaving cream.....
  8. What can I say, I was bored......Oh yeah, feel free to ask me if anybody needs an explanation/translation etc. 1)Moles are always smaller than you imagine. 2)At the end of every party there is always a fat girl crying. 3)One of the most awkward things that can happen in a pub is when your pint to toilet cycle get scynchronised with a complete stranger. 4)You've never quite sure whether its ok to eat green crisps. 5)Everyone who grew up in the 80's has entered the digits 55378008 into a calculator. 6)Reading when your drunk is horrible. 7)Sharpening a pencil with a knife makes you feel really manly. 8)Your never quite sure whether its against the law or not to have a fire in your back garden. 9)Whatever your age the desire to make plastic dolls shag is almost impossible to resist. 10)Nobody ever dares make cup a soup in a bowl. 11)You never know where to look when eating an apple. 12)Its impossible to describe the smell of a wet cat. 13)Prodding a fire with a stick makes you feel manly. 14)Rummaging in an overgrown garden will always turn up a bouncy ball. 15)You always feel a bit scared when stroking horses. 16)Everyone always remembers the day a dog ran into your school. 17)The most embarrassing thing you can do as schoolchild is to call your teacher mum or dad. 18)The smaller the monkey the more it looks like it would kill you at the first given opportunity. 19)Some days you see lots of people on crutches. 20)Every bloke has at some stage while taking a piss flushed half way through and then raced against the flush. 21)Old women with mobile phones look wrong! 22)Its impossible to look cool whilst picking up a frisbee. 23)Driving through a tunnel makes you feel excited. 24)You never ever run out of salt. 25)Old ladies can eat more than you think. 26)You cant respect a man who carries a dog. 27)Theres no panic like the panic you momentarily feel when you you've gotten your hand or head stuck in something. 28)No one knows the origins of their metal coat hangers. 29)Despite constant warning you have never met anybody who has their arm broken by a swan. 30)The most painful household incident is wearing socks and stepping on an upturned plug. 31)People who don't drive slam car doors too hard 32)Youve turned into your dad the day you put aside a thin piece of wood to specifically stir paint with. 33)Everyone had an uncle who tried to steal their nose. 34)Bricks are horrible to carry. 35)In every plate of chips there is a bad chip. 36)Triangle sandwiches taste better than square ones. 37)Beneath every floating balloon is a tearful child.
  9. Hi SL. Check this out: http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/night/club_dates_september_i.htm Don't know how reliable this is yet, but should be a good guide. Anyway, it looks as if you can get you ass over there soon after you finish in the States you'll be able to catch almost all the of closing parties. Bingo. Apart from the Space ones, can I recommend the Cocoon @ Amnesia with the likes of Sven Vath and Richie Hawtin......very cool. Have a good one.
  10. Come on kids, nobody's mentioned Jo Mills yet! Some say she's the love child of John Digweed and Tom Stephan, but don't believe the hype.
  11. I've finally been saved. That's right, Gallery regulars (@ Turnmills, London) are coming to little ole Dubai (the Water Sports Association) on 11/04, sorry, that's 04/11 (forgive my Britishness). This is going to be a long shit, but anybody out there going? It's at a cool outdoor venue overlooking the Creek, and the weather's just fine at the moment. Get yer shorts ans sarongs on.
  12. Laura sweetheart, if you can, do both - they've been equally good in the past. However, I still haven't managed to get hold of the lineup for either yet. I'd do it myself, but already going to Homelands in the UK, so I'll just have to make the closing party instead, along with Amnesia and Privilege. Shit it's going to be cool.
