  1. He has come on as the number 1 dj - his produced tracks a sick and he knows how to play the crowd!
  2. This is sold out online - are there any other tickets out there (Satellite or at the door?)
  3. Can anyone tell me if and when this will be released on ITunes?
  4. I am staying at the Atlantis next Sun - Thurs. Anywhere good to go out near there?
  5. so, how was the party last night? I don't see any reviews.
  6. He spins Trance and used to open for Sasha & Digweed - he is pretty sick if you like that kind of trance. I had seen him at Twilo, but that was obviously years ago. Haven't heard much from him lately. Hope this helps.takitez.
  7. Anybody know the date? Thanks.
  8. he is sick! number one dj imo. spun hard, pulled back, spun harder. crowd was really good too - very excited to be there...
  9. The Palm (West Side - 50th and 8th) is always great, but you can get that in Boston. Dos Caminos on 27th and Park is really awesome. Great service, great food, great drinks. Allegria (Italian, but they will make you anything) on 55th and 6th has nice outdoor seating (smoking permitted) and is a 10 minute walk from the Hudson.
  10. October 4, From 6am - 10am => they are going after Howard...
  11. Back on XM. http://www.foundrymusic.com/opieanthony/displayheadline.cfm?id=5871
  12. Does anyone know where Micro is spinning this Sat? It says "Kind" NYC on his website. Thanx.
  13. when the hell did xs go to hip hop? i am from nyc and get to go to the shore 1-2 times per year. i was thoroughly disappointed in the music there. it used to be all house, rippin' it up. no offense to the dj if that is his style, but i was expecting something totally different.
  14. Anyone know the next time he is in NYC?
  15. I have Live with Jonathan Peters (very good but no DVD) the Sound Factory Revelations (not bad) and the 13th Anniversary Party (pretty good). I would not buy them for the DVD's - typically one song long (like 7 minutes) and have some random party footage. But I think the CDs are good if you like hard house. As with Jonathan's choice in music over the years - you will find his older stuff more on the progressive house side, whereas his newer CD's are more tribal and very dark. Hope this helps...
  16. anyone know what time the show starts.
  17. anyone else notice the Tiesto poster for Nyana by the door in the diner on Tru Calling tonight?
  18. here's the deal. when junior is in a good mood he is sick. throws it down, and mixes in some crazy stuff that just works. problem is the guy is like 60 and is not always in a great mood. top that off with the fact that his parties are gay, and there is a lot of animosity. most people that hate junior have probably never even heard him spin, they are just afraid of the whole culture. i am straight, and have gone to twilo on gay night, and heard junior tear it up. when he was at exit, it was very hit or miss. never seen him at factory, but i still think he is sick. i have this radio 1 broadcast from the Y2K New Year's eve at Twilo and it is 60 minutes of awesome tracks that blow you away. His Twilo CD is probably the best compilation of house music ever. Just my 2 cents.
  19. Is anyone else out there extremely dismayed by the lack of decent radio stations in the metro NY area. I mean, there is not one station that looks to bring something new and fresh the table, whether it be dance or even undergound rock. There are no risk takers, no cutting edge new artists. You certainly won't hear Z100 finding the next Pearl Jam, they play the same 20 songs over and over and over again. 92.7 WLIR was the last small hope of looking for some new talent and a new sound, but they sold out over a year ago, and then sold their numbers to a spanish station. I think the only answer is to get XM or Sirius at this point.
  20. I thought Noel did a great job warming up the crowd. It is just like any concert - of course you want the headliner. But, he was awesome and I would def. go see him again. The U2 Remix of with or without you had everyone psyched. And then there was Tiesto - he is the undefeated, indisputable champion of trance. Off the hook! I was not sure if I was going to go - thank God I did!
