yea i hope its good... I have had some great nights there. But I came back to NY about a month ago and brought some friends there and it was god awful. I hope shit got turned around. Its a shame; I was amazed at how terrible it was in there.

If you stopped going out so long ago. How do you know NY is such a joke. I spent 6 months over there in the places you say laugh at NYC. And I found it to be quite the opposite, most people i talked to have a much different view then you. Yea they have different music. But alot of similar music too. What is the new cutting edge music that we don't have here? All that minimal shit?

I got dragged there once by some friends, about a month or two ago. I didn't really have a good time. But I would say it's just like the rest of them. Theres probably another 50 spots that are the exact same as that place. Not much room to sit. A decent little dance floor but the sound system it made my ears ring the next day. They played top 40's. Extremley overpacked and not too many girls in there, so the girls i was with were getting harrased.

ehh those massives in LA suck anyway. IMO. I went to a few when I lived in San Diego and never had a great time even though the lineups were always pretty insane. Some lineups were alot better than that. You don't get a good vibe when theres all those different dj's spinning. They start to get something going, then its time for the next guy.

Come on now lets not be too ignorant. Do you really think that it's a street level cop who decides to shut down the club? He just decides in the middle of eating a boston creme that hes having a slow night, it might be a good time to get on the radio and get eveyone he knows to meet outside crobar and raid it. I think its some asshole poitician, or someone along those lines. Those are the type of people who are really shady. Most cops are out there following orders just trying to get paid and go home in one piece.

Pulled it off. Closed out Pacha, don't remember what time that was at. I had a really good time. I thought music was better downstairs. That guy V-Tone was doing a real good job. I got there real early and the deejays were banging it out pretty hard on the main floor. But the place was still empty and no one was dancing. And they kept up the intensity all night. It felt like they were playing the same shit at 5 a.m. that they were at 1130. They never really went anywhere with the set, IMO. I'm not really going to let that ruin my night though. The music was still good and I still have a great time. Security was real shady too. WTF is up with that place. Go out to smoke but they had it closed off so the bouncer tells me and my friend to head upstairs to the third floor. So we go up there and another bouncer said no. SO we say fuck it and go back down. But there is another 2 bouncers blocking the door back down. They say that everyone up there had to leave. This was only like 3:30 I think. They weren't giving any reasons either. Luckily my friend had his coat checked down there. And after he talked to the guy for a while he let us go but no one else. I think a lot of people had to leave though. Thats pretty much a good reason to never go there again. That’s some shit that would happen in Exit or something. Anyone know if that type of stuff happens regularly there. I think we got in the car at like 9 ish. Then I went to a friends house and got ready for the game. Got to the Meadowlands at like noon or 1 and tailgated. Then what put the final nail in the coffin for me was a the drive back to VA after the game.

Yea I would rather check out Shelter or something along those line. But I want to show him what a big room is about. Plus we can't stay out too late because we are going to the Giants game tommorrow.

I haven't been to NY in a long time. Haven't really hit any big clubs in even longer. I'm coming back up there this weekend and bringing a friend whos never been to NY. I want to show this guy a big room in NY on Saturday, and Morales isn't really my cup of tea. I've seen Baily and Merrit a lot a few years ago. Whats that place like? Whats the crowd like? I heard its kind of a young group. Does it still look anything like the SF in there?

Not sure how many of you go out and buy cd's. But anyone get anything good recently? Last 2 I got was Roger Sanchez release yourself (the newest one, i think it was volume 5 maybee). And Morillo- Subliminal sessions volume 10. Both were alright. Prety good stuff imo. I need some new stuff though.

Their schedule is so weak that a 1 loss Florida, Tenn., Mich, Ohio St., maybee even Notre Dame would beat them out for the National Championship if they go undefeated. I used to hate the BCS shit. But now I see how it can really work... somtimes. Best 2 teams Play for the title, plain and simple. and Big east is not in that catergory. They need to either give the big east a few school from SEC or get them out of the BCS loop. Because things are just getting rediculous. I just read all this and it really looks like I am attacking the Big East. I really am just calling it like I see it. Plus I am a huge Big East fan for basketball, so don't think I'm just a hater.

Big East and ACC are both bad. Overall NCAA is weak this year. SEC is by far the strongest conference and thats not going to change anytime soon. Best 2 teams in football are both in the Big Ten. But SEC is rediculous. A 1 loss Florida or Tenn. would beat out an undefeated Louisville or WV for the National Championship. You can't play in the National Chapionship with a schedule like the one that WV has this year. That shit just doesnt happen.

Well Murder and Rape are terrible crimes however they are usually isolated. One time things. The mass distribution of drugs in one central location week in and week out isn't. It makes people lots of money; everyone from street level dealers all the way up the chain, in the long run it will hurt more people. On top of all that the NYPD is sectioned off into different departments. Are you saying that NYPD Narcotics should just give up on drugs and start trying to solve murder cases??? Thats sounds a little crazy too me. I am a club goer. I am definatly not a NYPD sympathizer either. I just read the ignorance in your post and wanted to make a point.
