  1. I wound up gettin denied entrance even thou my ticket was inside. I got on line on 19th st at 1 and made it to 18th st at 3. Then the bouncers were tellin ppl to go home, no one is gettin in, the cops will shut it down. This was at 315-330. And you were only gettin in if you had actual tickets. At first I wanted a refund, but now Made Events is supposedly having a make-up date? Do I get my ticket for the make-up date or get take my refunded money?
  2. I havent heard about him playing this sat nite, but i know he'll be in Trenton soon for a Slam'and' Jam tourney, i think in mid-Feb. The kid is legit, had his way with Lenny Cooke when he was a JR. He'll be in the pros next year.
  3. JayZs "Blueprint" was a copy off KRS-ONEs "blueprint", same type of picture frame used. Ivory, what you said basically has made me not want to go by a rap album unless i hear it first or its an old school one. All you need to does is talk bout cars, cash and hoes and you can get deal. The worst group of this is Cash Money; How many times can you talk about your 20s and rims and shit on a song? 50 Cents startin to get too much air play, his best shit was all his street tapes which were hot. If he gets into the mainstream, it could be tough to re-gain street credibility. NAS album isnt bad, but it isnt Illmatic and i doubt any other of his future albums will be like it. But his flow hasnt changed from then til now and thats his best quality.
  4. Its not Clarett, its Ohio St. Defense that is winning the game. Old sayin still is true. "Offense wins games, Defense wins Championships." Its happening here.
  5. They have confidence goin into half, and Miami's big 3 have been relatively held in check for the 1st half. 3 Canes TOs= 14 OSU pts. Lets see how Dorsey comes out in the 3rd. Another TO and Miami could be done.
  6. IT'll be closer than people think. It will depend on how Clarrett and OSU are after this Fiesta Bowl issue. IF they are on the same page, it will be close. IF not, itll be a blowout by Miami. Canes 35- OSU 14
  7. What is wrong with Garcia? WHy would he not able to play this weekend? ANd isnt Vick questionable with a left thumb injury?
  8. Why not have a pick-up game and see who shows up for that? Find a rink that has a decent cost for 2 hrs and good location for everyone who wants to play.
  9. Palmer or Banks deserved it. W/o neither one, their teams arent in the BCS. Johnson did not perform well in the "Big" games, Dorsey wasnt even his teams MVP (McGahee was), and McGahee wasnt goin to win it due to Johnson not winning it and being a Soph. Palmer had a great senior year, and capped it off with the Heisman. Congrats to him.
  10. yes FSU sucked, but they won their conference and the right to have their conference's BCS bid. To take that away from them or any team for that matter would be the worst thing to happen to college football. Then it means all these conference games and championships mean shit, and everyone should be an independent. You win your conference, you get the right to represent your conference in a BCS Bowl. as for the major conferences (Big 12, Big 10, SEC, ACC, Pac 10), they do control college football because they bring in alot of money to the conference, ie TV contracts, bowl games, championship games, etc. The end of the SWC started a trend of having Super-Conferences in college football. Athlon Magazine did an article on this subject, and it showed how the landscape of college football will look like. EVERY Team will be in a conference, and those conferences will have tie-ins to bowl games. Even So. Florida will be included in a conference. The idea of being an independent will be a thing of the past in the future of college football. Superconferences will the thing of the future.
  11. Dont hate on the BCS cause Notre Dame didnt get in. I'm glad they didnt, cause it meant another team worthy of a berth wouldnt have gotten in (Iowa or USC) should Notre Dame received a bid. Had ND taken care of USC, then they would be in it. End of story.
  12. Very good point regarding that. I wonder how what the rates the New York Whores charged.
  13. The New york whores are arent as easy on the eye as the bunny ranch girls. The one Big-canned brunette whore admitted to sleepin with over 100,000 men. Sounds like a classy broad.
  14. It'll be over at halftime, possibly even earlier. Just means earlier to go out after the game.

    UM's #1

Miami rolls over Ohio St, Clarett shut down big time. The best games in the BCS will be USC-Iowa and Oklahoma- Wash St. 2 outstanding Qbs in the former game and a great O vs D battle in the latter.
  16. IMO, I think the BCS did some justice by keepin ND out of the BCS, althou it hurt West Virginia at its expense. One, its gonna force ND to join a conference at some point in the near future, which they should be. I dont care about NBC; after this past year, at least 1/3 or more of NDs games were on ABC. So dont give me the TV contract BS. Secondly, after the embarassing loss that ND had at USC on National TV, do you think college football fans want to see ND in bowl and have a repeat of the 2001? Fiesta Bowl in which Oregon St hammered them? I watched that game, and it was the worst matchup to have in a primetime setup. And yes, I hate ND. As for Michigan, Penn St, Texas, Kansas St, all 4 teams didnt get the job done. Michigan is overrated, and is lucky to be ranked so high IMO. Penn st had a good year, needed to beat at least Iowa, Michigan or Ohio st to get serious BCS consideration. Kansas ST lost to Texas and didnt win the Big 12 North Conference. BEat USC but the above hurt them. TExas lost to OU, and still had itself setup for the Fiesta but lost to Texas TEch. o join a conference at some point in the near future, which they should be. Sorry for the long rant, but the BCS worked out fine this year. You have 2 undefeated teams in the title game, thats what we as college football fans have been wanting for awhile. All the BCS cares about it pitting BCS 1 vs. BCS 2. Period. WE have it this year, now lets enjoy the bowl season.
  17. what do you mean "big" decision to attend FSU?
  18. If FSU beats UF, man will Zook have a rough off-season.
  19. Adrian McPherson has been kicked off the team today by Bowden. The police are involved, and apparently it involves a stolen blank check and gambling.
  20. Umm, sorry, not the best ever. I think OU. Nebraska, Texas, Miami, and FSU have had some outstanding teams over the years. Notre Dame gets hyped because they are the marquee name in college football. If ND isnt doing well, then it isnt good for college football. BTW, isnt Miami having a little trouble tonite?
  21. Irish lost their titles hopes yesterday. You would need all the teams above them to lose again, which may not happen to all 9. BCS bowl is still a possibility should they beat the remaining teams on their schedule. USC could give them problems thou. As for the remaining unbeatens, Miami could be the one team to slip-up to VT. I highly doubt Oklahoma loses to anyone on their remaining schedule, and Ohio State, barring a major upset to Michigan, should likely be the only undefeated teams remaining.
  22. Sorry Notre Dame, your national titles hopes just flew out the window with that lose to BC. The luck of the Irish ran out finally today. Now all the the BCS computers can get off NDs jocks and quit the #1 ranking.
  23. Hopefully a kick doesnt need to be made for BC to win. BC just got jobbed on that so-called halo violation. That couldve been the nail in NDs national championship hopes. BC needs to keep playin D like theyve been all game long.
  24. Yes, I DID CRY and i needed a tissue. Lost $25 on it. I am still shocked at that game, nothing could go wrong for ND. MY only saving grace(s) is that USC beats them at the end of the year, which could happen, and that this season replays like the 1993 season when BC upset them on a last second FG. Could happen, much to my pleasure. There is still alot of football left, the fact that ND must play Navy and Rutgets does not help the SOS and Mich St doing poorly doesnt help as well.
  25. They are still terrible, has to be the luck of the Irish. Perhaps the WORST officiating i've ever seen so far this season. Now, Im going to go cry until the my 3:30 game comes on.
