  1. if you can read spanish, the best guide is: http://www.guiadelocio.com/barcelona/ here´s there nightclub section... even if you don´t know spanish you can piece through the descriptions and pictures of the individual clubs. http://www.guiadelocio.com/superespeciales/mostrarespecial.cfm?id_super=4637 Discothèque is fucking wicked. The Loft is a good time too. http://www.clubbingspain.com/English/index.php this site sucks but at least it´s in english. A few phrases in spanish to help you out (if you don´t know ´em) Entrada - entrance Año nuevo - New Year Noche Vieja - New Year´s eve, literally means the "long night" Consumicion - A drink. Spanish clubs typically offer a free drink with the cover. Barra Libre - Open Bar - most decent clubs have an open bar for new years. 1€ equals about $1 Also bear in mind that most clubs do not open before midnight, so plan on spending new years eve somewhere else. Good luck finding a place! Nick Madrid
  2. I've heard Ibiza has a few nice foam and water parties...
  3. saw him for $5 at Northwestern. Northwestern sucked, the crowd sucked, but BT put on a helluva show. All in all it was a good evening
  4. no idea what the madrid flight will cost, I will be living in madrid for a year hence it's not part of the equation. Depending on where you live, I'd expect it to be around $600 round trip. As far as the $175 madrid-ibiza ticket, that's pretty cheap, even by American standards. Ibiza will be expensive, but I'll be able to think about it when I'm slaving my ass off working this summer . pz- nicmac aim:suspect998
  5. I'm organizing it mostly myself. I've gotten some information over the internet, some through a US-based travel agent, and some through a Spain-based travel agent. Here's what my costs are looking like: Airfare from madrid to ibiza (I already have airfare from chicago -> madrid) $175. Room: 80 euros\night (3 beds). Clubbing expenses: about $100\night anyway, you got any plans to be there?
  6. hey y'all- I'm planning a trip to ibiza from sept 15-21... anyone gonna be there during that time? if so, lemme know! thanks- nick aim: suspect998 dailyguy2004@yahoo.com
  7. Yo- I too am going to Ibiza, from sep 15-21. I've found the best deals through my travel agent, to be honest. But www.spotlight-ibiza.com has a lot of helpful resources. When are you planning on being there?
  8. Here are some of my experiences: I find I'm much happier taking a pill and then taking another as I peak. When I took 2 pills at once I didn't find myself rolling as long as I wanted to. Also, consider what you're eating. The first few times I tried to roll I had a lot of problems because of what I was eating. Rolls will be diluted if you have fat\oil in your stomach. Eat a steak dinner and it might be many hours before you've cleared your stomach out. So just bear in mind that it's a good idea to eat foods without much oil or fat before you roll. Since I realized that I've had much better experiences.

Just a quick question: I have a friend coming up who's not 21. How carefully do clubs check IDs? Do they genuinely try to stop people with fakes? thanks-
