  1. A little quid pro quo--- i give you a hot girl doing bad things, you tell me the song that she's doing them to. Check it out. http://babes.dumpalink.com/media/39
  2. I used to be into this whole club thing, but i haven't gone anywhere in like a year. I'm looking to go somewhere this weekend to dance and have a good time. Maybe drop a pill. Definitely need a place with some girls though. not too guidoy, not too scummy. Don't give me this SF sunday crap cause that shit is overreated as fuck and pretty gay And Roxy's kinda young if i remember right. Any suggestions?
  3. now thats some killer irony. next thing you know kids will be posting reviews from djs they saw at weddings and bar mitzahs. "kinda played some cheesy stuff for the crowd, you know, but after the cutting of the cake he really ripped it up. I wasn't into hot hot hot so much, but loved when he played Safri duo, the bongo song... gotta love those oldies!"
  4. Exits not about music. Exits about a bunch of 18 year olds wanting to get into a scene, and going to the biggest place in the city to strut their 5 days a week workout body. I know.... I did it when I was 18. it was a lot of fun. And I thought the music was hot. But it kinda like bubblegum-pop. Theres very little substance to it the more you listen to what draper plays. For 30 bucks I want to hear talent, not a bunch of songs with filler beats I could play on atomix (ahem JP). But when they bring in talent its the same crowd as always, of course. The place has a shit reputation. and the people who go to exit are there for others reasons. not the music (oh seb fontaine is at exit? cool, wait who's seb fontaine? oh an international dj. oh he's good? Cool! guys, guess who I'm going to see at exit.... no not oakenfold, seb fontaine. he's this hot international dj) Let it go, who cares. The whole scene is gay anyway. NY has better shit to do. You wanna party like that, go to Europe.
  5. On the whole the Brits have better taste in dance music compared to New Yorkers who think the world revolves around house and the NY djs. cosignin on the terrible girls. The age range at parties is much bigger over there. And a much more relaxed, anything goes attitude. (which has its ups and downs)
  6. let me guess dude, never been farther away from NY than the Jersey shore yea? thanks for helping give us all a great name deuchebag.
  7. Of course London is better, however.... New York has something intangible London doesn't have.... potential maybe? No doubt NY was once the capital before the scene died.... it could be the biggest and the best, but its just misguided I think.... i dont know. For now London has it, hands down.
  8. where is this? address, where in London?
  9. Anyone know of a good site which lists djs coming to London. Obviously nowhere could list everyone, but I'd hate to miss a big name I'd wanna see cause I didn't know. Thanks.
  10. how is it, whats going on tonight, dress code, etc. thanks
  11. thanks a lot, cant wait to check em out
  12. Aight guys, help a brother out. Starting in mid september I'll be living in London for 3 months. I've never been there, and really don't know shit about the city, the culture, etc. As far as clubs go, I've been doing the NYC thing for some years now, though as anyone who lives here knows the scene is absolute shit. Can someone suggest some good places to check out when I'm in London, at least so I know where to get started. What are the places and parties I absolutely MUST check out. I've always been into the progressive and hard NY house, cant stand real trancey shit and drum n bass, but everything else I'm open to. I like to groove def. Deep and tribal also good. Dont mind superclubs as long as the music is aight. Any suggestions I'd love to hear. Thanks a lot, cant wait to come over and party
  13. Whats going on this fri? what time does dt start? best time to get there? Admission price? Is there really no dress code, or are things like hoodies n shorts socially forbidden? etc. thanks, looking foward to checking it out.
