Crobar needs a strong lineup of residents to compliment Victor. Producer/ DJ's who turn it out with there latest unreleased BOMBS. That's what keeps things interesting! I for one would LOVE to see Chris Staropoli aka THAT KID CHRIS up in there. He's from NYC but rarely plays here, probably due to past NYC "politics" in clubland. I mean this guys been releasing bomb tracks since like 96-97'!!! His new mix of Monica's "Set it Off" ft. Missy E ... Lit up Crobar when Victor dropped it NYE. And it was great to see TKC and Victor laughing and partying in the booth (for me at least ..LOL...I'm definitely a fan of both) Why fly in other DJ's when we have crazy talent right here?!?! I mean this is NEW YORK!!!! Trendsetting capital...HELLO!! I know I'm not alone on this one, it's been an on-going topic of conversation as of late amongst people in 'the know'. Wheather it was filling in for Junior. @ Twilo or Exit, gigs in Miami or the Bkyln loft Chris never lets us down. It's time to give this guy the props he deserves (in his hometown!!) Hopefully Crobar will get there act together and find the winning formula. The club is on the money...they just need a killer DJ line-up to take it over the top. BTW.. here's a few more mixes done by TKC that come to MY mind... Even when they try to play "dance music" it ends up being the worst representation. The mixshows are a joke. The Classic's on sunday's are fine. The radio personaliteis all need to be fired. We'll let Junior can stay ...because he's earned the right to be on the radio. next..

hope to see TKC playing in NYC soon (ie:crobar hopefully) last time I got a chance to hear him was at the Loft He f*cking turns it!

Chris Staropoli a.k.a. That Kid Chris will be playing in place of Junior Vasquez this coming Saturday night / Sunday morning at Earth (Exit) Aug. 31. The AFTERHOURS party. Junior will be out of town that night. Jr. and his management has asked Chris to fill in for the night. This will be Chris' second time filling in for Junior. (The 1st time was at Twilo) Anyone who has ever wanted to check out TKC, this is your chance. He doesn't get a chance to spin in NYC too often. This party is not being promoted with flyers since it's a last minute type thing. If your into Tribal Sounds... DON'T MISS IT :eek: :eek: :eek:

I'm glad to see that everyone had an awesome time. It was unfortunate that Chris had to get off at 4:30 instead of 5am, but they had to squeeze the other dj in before they closed. Why stop a good thing, is beyond me, but that's the way "the club" plays the game. It's so obvious that NY needs some major overhaul in the club scene. Some of us are simply tired of making do with what we have. The day will come. It was great meeting everyone. Stay tuned, there's more to come soon! There's hope for NY yet. :clap:
