I had a freakin' great time. And everyone has different music taste, so CP'ers are all over the city. Some people don't like the superclub thing, prefer lounges. Best thing about town is variety. My foot is healing well, still if you make it out one night in May/June, you may catch me at the one legged crutchwalking booty dance.

I haven't noticed what you would call a beautiful crowd at Avalon. If it wasn't for the talent, I wouldn't even bother with the place. Last time we were there was April 2nd and they had a phenomental UK breakbeat DJ that blew the roof off!! He had come to spin a late set after doing and earlier one at Webster Hall opening for Crystal Method that night. I was planning on wearing jeans and a silk screened tee, not at all my usual clubbing clothes, since Avalon just doesn't rate the effort or the outfit. My then bf couldn't believe I was dressing so down, talked me into wearing a little pink frilly thing. Glad I changed bc I danced my a** off that night like everyone on the sweaty packed dance florr and was so happy to be wearing an outfit made out of kleenex.

Factory back in the day was A1 full of great music, love and beautiful happy partying people, that is before it got overrun by stupid kiddies that don't know how to hold their water. Anyone who says it was nothing more than a crack den is talking out of their A** either that or they are one of those losers who f*cked the place up by being sloppy.

Some event guy was snapping pics that night, he got a few shots of me with some cuties I met up with, a brawny rapper from California and a tall blondish playwrite from Amsterdam. No idea how to get the pic unless it shows up on the Centrofly website. If anyone sees any there of a black guy, white guy with an asian girl on crutches, give a shout out. Talent that night: Junior Sanchez opener, then FatBoy Slim. Princess Superstar downstairs in the Pinky Room. And there isn't anything going on now at Centro...Saturday was the closing party.

Do anyone happen to know about seating? I know they redid the club, it made the space more open. Are the only seats in VIP and how to get there- bottle service? I'll be there- on crutches. What with how busy Centro will be for this closing party, I want to keep my boots safe and sound.
