if it does reopen, it's not surprising. that's part of the life cycle of a club: close a club reopen it maybe under new ownership / mgmt possibly change the name of the club.

me too thank heavens. I don't have to wear a bra, but I'm afraid of the effects of gravity so I wear one when I'm at work, college, etc. i used to do chest presses and shrunk 2 inches to a 32 C. Since then I never worked my chest again and got my 34 C back.

nyc doesn't have strict laws, at least in comparison to other places. If you want strict, go to DC and you'll realize how lax the laws in nyc really are. nyc beats nj any time, any day. even in nyc's worst day it beats nj on it's best day. there's no comparison btwn the 2. it's the best place on earth.

They used to have a fairly strict door search. There are times I went and they told guys to go as far as taking their shoes off. As far as women were concerned, they checked every oriface of their bodies. The last few times I went, they didn't check the women at all. From what I heard, they didn't like "nonhouse dealers" selling the drugs. hypocricy ...it's acceptible to sell drugs if you're a house dealer, and prohibited if you're not. There are going to be drugs everywhere, it depends on whether or not you're discreet, as EXIT people were not. What happened to the days of closing a club only because they didn't have a liquor licence.

I apologize about the generalizations, I should have reworded my statement. I was referring specifically to the guidos. I don't look for a guy at exit or factory, but when I meet someone, they usually (not always) happen to fit the description I provided. I'm starting to wonder where older men go. Every once in a while, I would meet a really cool guy named Joey or Tony from Queens, and some are quite intelligent, but those occasions are infrequent. Perhaps, it may be due to the image they percieve of me, but I just thought of inquiring. My apologies.

Me too. I must visit my family. There used to be Buzz@ Nation, but it's gone. The best I heard so far is the VIP club on Fridays, Five, and some lounges like Dragonfly. I remember there was Glow at club Insomnia near the MCI center. I don't know if it exists anymore, but on fri and sat it was mostly 20 -22 year olds who had maturity levels far below a 12 year old, but every once in a while they had some good dj's. I heard to stay away from Dream from at least 12 people.

Sorry to whine, but I would be very greatful if the men would answer my question: Which clubs do the 25-> 30 year old men go? I'm sick of asshole 21 year old guido's at Exit and the factory who have the same stupid lines: "can I get a kiss? what's ya numba? wanna go downstez? can you give me a blow job?". It's becoming so predictable. And oh the surprise, they all happen to be named Tony or Joey and live in Queens and are drug dealers. Maybe if they had some creativity they would get some.

There are lots of goth clubs in nyc, but the main place to be is Downtime on Saturdays --> 251 w 30th st. they usually have ads in the village voice w/ the $5 of coupon. Most people have day jobs so the only time they can go out is sat. Downtime is soooooooooooooo small and around 1 am is very crowded like 400 people in that tiny place, it's so hot and sweaty in there and the dancefloor is tiny. honestly, if you want to be at the main goth club, it's downtime on saturday nights, but don't go with platforms, pvc, fake hair, 100 tattoos, and piercings, you'll only look like the other 400 people there.

There weren't a lot ie swarming the place like exit and sf but there were still some. and lot 61 is pretty cool

yeah twomonthsoff. great record. I work for a record label and that record is flying out the shelves. We're sold out of it and the "we are all made of stars" remixes. The rmxs seemed to be huge for the summer as well as green velvet's "la la land". But....my fav is still narcotic thrust. killer song

That is so hilarious! Would the nyc clubs make a profit w/ out them? It seems like the distribution is 65% guido and 25% asian 10% other for any given club. Even lot 61 has it's share of "wanna be upper class " guidos. There are tons of non italian guidos, what are they called?

This board is packed w/ Exit haters. I go there but I just moved the hell out of Washington, DC, and Exit is a blessing compared to any club in DC, except Buzz maybe.

Walk into Exit or Sound Factory (friday or saturday) and many many people are wearing the same thing. Maybe a different color but same style, but I believe it's largely due to what's in style currently. Same clothes, same hair style, same pick up lines. In any case, NYC is still the best place on earth.

I told you before I'm new to this. No one in DC is willing to explain anything, hence the question. I thought guys just care about coming, regardless of the method. How the fuck should I know? Like tastyt said, it's not like women have male genitalia to know what it's like.

Please forgive me for asking these questions, I'm new to this. In lousy DC guys criticise me for not knowing how to give a blow job yet won't teach me how. In wonderfully fabulous NYC they are nice enough to teach me how since I gotta learn some day. Why do guys prefer a blow job over a hand job?
