He's back after a sold-out Halloween show that saw him tear the roof off the place. It was steamy, sweaty and all around stupidity on the dance floor. D:fuse had such a great time, he commented that Spybar was his best show ever in Chicago. So let's do it again for Valentine's Day. This is the final weekend of Chicago and Milwaukee Emerging Artist Shows. For the past 5 months we have showcased 6 djs in Chicago and 2 in Milwaukee. This weekend is your final chance to see the djs before the final round of voting occurs. The winners in each city will be crowned after Dec 16th.

After reaching capacity the last 2 shows at MODA, this club has been consistently packed on Friday since. We again expect a big crowd.
This show we highlight Exact Events Dj, KCJ, who impressed us last time with a mix of underground and explosive vocal tracks to a packed house. Nathan Scott is a regular Moda dj and routinely gets praise for bringing out the best in the clubs resident dancers.
Scion will be on hand with some bad ass cars and free giftbags and the folks at Apple are giving away a free IPOD to someone at the club.

The first two shows in Milwaukee went off well with a capacity crowd at the second. Scion brought 5 pimped out rides at the last show and lined em up down the block. What has been a successful nationwide tour culminates with Milwaukee's final show. This night features Milwaukee's own Fortune and Soul System's Faraz as the finalists for Milwaukee Emerging Artist.
Chicago's own Marco Morales opens the night with some good ole' Chicago House. Scion will be on hand with some bad ass cars and free giftbags

These are the final 2 Scion shows and just recently on November 4th we put over 700 people in a packed Moda for Scion show number 5. Here's how the last 2 shows work. After having seen the 4 nominees go head to head over the past few months, now you get the chance to vote for who you think the winner is online at EATour.com. The winner of the 4 djs gets a gig at the Emerging Artist show at the WMC in March. He/She also gets a free travel down there.
This show we highlight Nathan Scott and Mili Sefic who play for your vote. Nathan's a resident Moda dj who excels at moving a crowd and Mili is a world traveller which an excellent record bag. As always Localsound can pick up your cover and some of your drinks free. RSVP for free entry before midnight and enjoy drinks on us until 10:30pm. The 4 of 5 Emerging Artists chosen in Chicago. Mili Sefic came to the US via Bosina in '93 and it was at Big Wig where he had his first gig with Localsound. Now he's called upon by all of the biggest promoters in Chicago.

The 2005 Emerging Artist Tour
The Emerging Artists Tour is a new and bold approach to creating nationwide exposure for emerging artists by integrating corporate sponsorships from Scion and various media partners to produce events that highlight and promote the best talent from each metropolitan location of the tour with 60 events and publishing a mini-magazine distributed in all 14 cities.
The third of 6 national shows sponsored by Scion will highlight four emerging artists on the Chicago scene. Nathan Scott has been a resident at Moda for close to 1.5 years and now he is getting recognition on the national scene as one of 4 Scion Emerging Artists. He plays from 12:30-2:30 in the spotlight. The third of four Emerging Artists over a 4 month period will be voted on by clubgoers and given national spotlight on the Emerging Artists Tour. Our 3 year year anniversary!
We're back with nothing but good ole fashioned house in an intimate setting, food and fun and 2 great djs. James Curd and Chris Gin haven't played together since the club Tunnel was open.. So this is a reunion of sorts for these two wizards. Localsound is back doing what we do best with our new 'i <3 house' night, where it's nothing but house and tag teams from 10-2. This is a rare occasion to see two great djs tag teaming for 4 hours! Like we used to do at Big Wig, you can get some great tunes and still get to work on time the next night!
