  1. Mon: Opium Garden Tues: Ritz Plaza, Nerve, Spi Wed: Shore Club, Crobar, Space Thurs: Surfcomber, Sabor, Level, Opium Garden, Space Fri: Surfcomber, Nerve, Opium Garden, Space Sat: Nerve, Space
  2. I'll be there, but I already got my ticket. Maybe I could hit you up for a drink?
  3. Armin van Buuren, Craig Richards, Lee Burridge
  4. What does a VIP ticket get you? Btw, your web site wouldn't come up.
  5. Can someone from Maze and Space (or anyone else) shed some light on the timeslots for Friday? Also, will the password from cooljunkie really get you in free to Picotto at Space before midnight?
  6. Where'd you get it? I'd love to get my ears on that. Do you use a file sharing program?
  7. Alabama's a good place to raise kids but not to party. I've lived in Birmingham all my life but have only recently realized how boring it is for a single person out of college. I'm not sure what kind of scene you're into, but since this is CLUBplanet, I'm assuming you like the club/edm scene. I go to Atlanta all the time, and eleven50 is the best club in the Southeast next to the Miami clubs and one of the best in the Eastern US. It's an extremely cool and classy layout, and they consistently get top notch DJ talent. For example, this Friday they have James Zabiela and Chris Fortier and Saturday they have Josh Wink. In December, they already have Paul Oakenfold, Mark Farina, and Deep Dish lined up. I'm sure they'll have someone big for NYE. If I'm not in NYC, Miami, or LA, I'll definitely be at eleven50 for NYE. PM me if you want to discuss it more.
  8. One more thing -- if you're into DnB, Ed Rush, Optical, and Matrix will be at The Riviera Friday night. I'd go, but I prefer Sasha, and 21+ crowds.
  9. You could eat in Buckhead, I guess, but I wouldn't go to a bar or club there unless you want to hang out with rednecks, thugs, or frat boys (who've long since graduated from college). Midtown is the best area to go out, these days, if you like classy places. That's where eleven50 is, along with Halo, Cosmopolitan, Lava, Tangier, etc.
  10. eleven50 is the best club in Atlanta, hands down, and one of the best in the country. Sasha and Steve Porter will be there Friday night Oct. 11, and Parks & Wilson will be there Oct. 12, as will I both nights. There's really no other place that compares, but for a warm-up you could try Halo or Trinity. eleven50 will go 'til the DJs quit, which is usually 4 or 5 am. After that, you could try The Riviera.
  11. Thanks. Anyone know anything about Glow on Nov. 2? They still haven't posted their Nov. lineups.
  12. Anyone know where I can find more info on this place - web site, etc? I read somewhere that Christain Smith and Uberzone were going to be there on Nov. 2, but I'd like more info about this and other lineups they may have.
  13. It's too bad about Buzz, but what's going on at Stereo and Glow the weekends before and after Halloween? I'll be in D.C. the week of Halloween and was wondering if I should come early and/or stay late. All I know about is Fleming and D:Fuse at Glow on 10/26.
  14. I'm going to be in DC for Labor Day weekend and was wondering if any world-class DJ talent was going to be in the area. I know the line-up for Buzz at Nation, although I'm not familiar with the styles of any of the DJs. Anything good going on at Glow or elsewhere?
  15. I'm from the Atlanta area, and I was in Miami a month ago for the weekend when Saeed & Palash were at Spin. It was my first time in Miami, and I had a good time checking out Spin, Level, and Opium Garden, but I didn't meet too many people. I'll be back this weekend for Tiesto and Sasha, and I was hoping to meet some people with a similar genuine interest in the edm scene. The members of this board obviously share that interest, so I was wondering if I could meet up with some of y'all at one or both of Tiesto and Sasha. Just reply to this post or pm me if you're interested. Thanks.
  16. I'm not from NYC and haven't actually been there since I was a child. However, lately I've gotten into the edm/club scene, mainly in Atlanta (which is the closest scene to where I live). I want to plan a trip to NYC, but I'd like to do it when there are going to be some good world-class DJs in town. Is there a web site out there that has a good, current listing of who's going to be in NYC in the coming months? Also, a web site that has good general information about the clubs would be helpful. Thanks for helping a Southern boy out. The scene is making its way to us from NYC and Miami, albeit slowly.
  17. There's nothing not nice about me or my posts. I was just trying to find out exactly who was going to be at the show in Atlanta to decide whether or not to make the drive over. However, because of a lying promoter (either in Miami or Atlanta) who's too afraid of losing a few bucks to have some integrity and own up to what really went down, I couldn't get the information I needed (which is what promoters are supposed to provide). If you were told a few hours before your last post that one of them had a sudden emergency, why did you post that they were each playing at different venues only two hours before your last post? Let me guess, the one who had the emergency just happened to be the one that was supposed to play at Level, right? Don't you think it'll be pretty easy for me to find out if they both played in Atlanta? If I'm wrong, I'll be the first to admit it and apologize, but the only shady talk I'm getting is coming from Miami.
  18. The Seks promoters in Atlanta just informed me that both Tarrentella and Redanka are in Atlanta even as we post, so what's going on, jcbliss? If they're both in Atlanta, one of them can't be in Miami.
  19. I'm sure this Bliss party is gonna slam. I wish I could be there. I actually live in Birmingham, AL (no, there's no scene here -- we all go to Atlanta), but I'm going to be visiting Miami July 19-22, so anyone with any suggestions on stuff to do, let me know. Right now, all I know about is Saeed & Palash at Spin July 19 and Way Out West at Space on July 20. Any good DJs at Level, Crobar, etc.? Anyway, I'm posting on this thread because I noticed Tarrentella and Redanka are spinning at the Bliss party, but they're supposed to be headlining a show at Eleven50 in Atlanta tonight. Are they appearing early enough at Level to fly to Atlanta and appear at midnight or 1:00 am there?
  20. I'll be in Tampa on business on July 22, and I was thinking of spending the weekend before in Miami. What's going on that weekend? I just saw Seb Fontaine last weekend and Steve Lawler two weeks ago in Atlanta, and they were both excellent. Anybody spinning the darkness in Miami? I like pretty much any house, techno, trance, or DnB, but especially the dark and hard stuff.
