here is a question if you life depends on it what's your answer to these questions
GET A HIT derek jeter , not my favorite player , think he is a little overated but with my life in the balance for one hit . there is not a player better in the clutch
PITCH A WINNING GAME cut schilling (can go 9 innings strong and best under pressure
LEAD A WINNING DRIVE tom brady , superbowls enough said. the guy hardely ever makes mistakes
MAKE A PENALTY SHOT peter forsberg , he is great clutch player and will deliver
MAKE A 18 FOOT JUMP SHOT kobe bryant . he is the best clutch player in the nba and most of all would be the first guy wanting to take the shot
MAKE A BIRDIE ON 18 tiger woods , is this really worth asking this one
WIN A TENNIS MATCH andre agassi , i think roddick and federer are better at this point but with my life in the balance the old timer would find a way to win
WIN NASCAR RACE tony steward , i like his toughness and consistency over dale jr at this point
WIN BOXING MATCH - roy jones he doesn't lose so why would he start losing then

duke and stanford would be a quality game , my gut says if duke gets that far they would finish it and win. i don't think either wins it though . i like kentucky , u conn, okla st , nc . nc being my darkhorse and winning it all. i love their talent on a neutral floor and if they get a couple of wins to lift their confidence much like syracuse last year i think they win it all

okay first off i am not a knicks fan but a cavs fan. i was born in cleveland but living in new york . just asking the knicks fan if they feel the same. i kind of read stuff like knicks ready for playoffs , once houston is healthy watch out for the knicks . i was listening the mike and mad dog and they were talking about the knicks and playoffs. i think i might be the only one who think the knicks are in real danger of missing the playoffs . i know the east sucks but i think cleveland will pass them and boston did tonight . the only thing they have going is how bad toronto and philly are . i think in honesty they may get the 8th spot but i would not order playoff tickets yet or hold your breath. i think most also would agree the van horn trade sucked . not because tim thomas is bad , but because it ruined chemistry . lastly my finals prediction is indiana and sacremento . the kinds scare me a little though. i also think if it ends up that indiana will scare a team in the west more then people think . the are very underated especially man to man defense . ron artest is the best defender in the nba and o'neal is great as well

i read the responses to my post and i wanted to clarify that in the post i said players you would want to start your team around if you were starting it today . pedro martinez was left off because of age not what he does against the yankees i could care less . he is still unreal , but if starting a team today you are going to take guys like wood and prior who have 6-9more years of playing in them then pedro . definitely if i meant best players today pedro would be on there . my response on jason schmidt is the he is 37-13 in his last 50 decisions and has the ability to dominate a game against any team . guys like jaime moyer win every year but are not game changers and dominators like schmidt and after he wins 20 if healthy more of the public will understand that

i know there is a lot of debate on who is baseball's best player. i am looking for your opinions on the five best players and pitchers you would start a team around. you have to factor in age , attitude and all that as well. that is why guy like bonds , schilling , pedro are not on this list .
Players
1 albert pujols
2 alex rodriguez
3 vlad guerrero
4 todd helton
Pitchers
1 mark prior
2 jason schmidt
3 kerry wood
4 roy halladay

here is my take on yankees this season . first off i am objective neither yankee fan nor red sox fan . i am a cleveland fan for what that is worth these days , although being one for the cavs is looking better everyday , but an indians fan is pretty lonely these days . back to subject at hand . i truly believe there is no doubt the red sox have the better team . first off the team chemistry is there more . even with offseason shit that went on , garciaparra is in a contract year which equals hard play and good numbers. ramirez no matter what puts up mvp type numbers . they strengthen their bench and cluth players by adding eliss burks. no the matter of pitching , schilling healthy enough said in big games . word is martinez has come into camp with his old attitude and most think he will have a kick ass year . add derek low and wakefield in a short series i think they get the yankees because of pitching. last year their bullpen sucked as well. now you get it past the 7th and turn it over to timlin , williamson and then foulke its over. so all yankee fans i must say it looks real good on paper but come october i am thining a red sox /cubs world series which would be very nice to see

i have read a lot about the yankees need to do to win the world series and some of it just does not make sense , nor what there fans want them to do makes sense . first off carlos beltran is not the answer to winning a world series . he is young and fantastic like adrian beltre but if sheffield and a rod is enought to prove a star player wont bring it for you then i don't what is . i could justify them signing one of those two because they need young star players , but its not a world series quick fix . matt clement , carl pavano (although i like his talent} not the answer either , lets get real . the yankees are about quick fixes not developing players . do whatever it takes to get randy johnson , yes he is old and very expensive but for 1-2 years he gives you what it takes to confidently front a staff and take the ball and win a game 7 . just like schilling his short term pay off will be great . my other thought would be a darkhorse trade . toronto sucks and will be looking to dump roy halladay eventually , he had an off year because of injury and team was shit , but so did schilling a year ago . halladay is a proven cy young pitcher and good second half starter . just like the us olympic basketball team , the yankees all star team does not equal world series . where are the role players of the old yankees days that do the little things that add up and where is the help before gordon and rivera . i mean a 200 million dollar payroll and tanyon sturtze and felix heridia are your middle men . my last statment is complete props to manny ramirez , where is the media to back him for once . with the whole a rod no trade thing , all garciaparra did is bitch and cause problems , all ramirez did was keep his mouth shut , be classy about it and put up mvp numbers again . oh yea we don't need barry zito's hanging and figured out curveball in new york either
