Oscar G. if you read this thread. I sincerly apologize.

    I take it back.

    As for bugaloo:

    Bugaloo® goodies above are parodistic.

Parody: A literary or artistic work that imitates the characteristic style

of an author, artist or a work for comic effect or ridicule.

    here a parody for you.

and I think Bobby Radical will turn you out like a $5 crack whore when it comes to parodies.

How about bringing down a Boy Band?

Hek, you could be signed as there dj.

(I can visualize the flyer, all members w/ cool outfits/sunglasses & you in the background cutting it up)

    If not,

I'm sure we can put together a CP group.

I'll make sure to pass by & give you some other ideas I may have. lol

You know, All I tried to do is invite peeps to a new party and I get insults from Space's flyer boy. I want to thank you for one Mr. "Boogerloooo" I'm flattered you think I look good enough to be in a boy band.

I'm sorry I can't say the same about you.

Bugaloo Club. Isn't that the club that "pookieheads" join when they are old enough to drink?:puke:

    It's all good.

Imagine how it got to me. As soon as I posted I got bombed by all these peeps that have "If it ain't Space, It sucks" mentality.

Look, I have this other idea that i'm workin on. When I can get it finalized I'm gonna call you. It will benefit everyone involved.;)

(what large marbles u must have)

May the force be w/ you.

(Emperor & his Jedi Knights next-door)

    (Space babes aswell)

I'll swing on by/check it out

for a change of scenery alright.

Do us CP'ers get any Buga-treatment?

First, Miami is is not a one horse town. Space cannot hold all the peeps who love to go clubbing.

Second Downtown Miami only has 4 clubs, South Beach has god only knows how many. and there always new ones poping up over there. When I use to run The Mix afterhours on south beach 3 other afterhours open up and they worked. they were not as big as THE MIX, but they offered a different place to go.

Third, Exile has something to offer the public that no other club on the block can offer. a real stage for "Full Live Perfomances" and it can cater to any type of music.

Question: If you had a choice to see a big name perform Live or do a dj set, which would you prefer?

I'm in no way trying to compete with Space (I dont have that kind of budget, yet) all I'm offering is an alternative place to hang out afterhours.

    what's buga-treatment?

if it is like VIP. we are not charging any cover charge.

we want you to come in, buy drinks and enjoy good music.

    Gio

Exile is open this weekend, you say open Saturday, does that mean Saturday Night or Friday night?

Well I'm pretty sure PVD is gonna be around $50 to get in.

Exile's afterhours (SIN) is open Saturday night/Sunday Morning @ 5 am.

You have a valid point towards Pete, harder is not necessarily better. A lot of trance DJs go way overboard at first, seeking to slaughter the dancefloor. Too many nowadays do that, or go totally opposite into cheeseland...

On an off-note, what sort of lighting system is @ your place?

    cool thanx,

    Cromar & Martin

Its a nice club, great sound, has ALOT of potential, but obviously Gio isnt doin something right if noone has even heard of the club even being open, AND its NEXT to the Living Room!!! I know it takes a while to get people in the door, but come on, its between two of the most popular clubs in Miami and not one person has been there!

I was down there with Pete and we offered to help promote, even as a f*ckin street team for free becuz I think a new afterhours is needed for some variety. But Gio was rude about the whole deal in the following week. He's tryin to run the afterhours and be the dj at the same time...dont think its workin man....just like it wasn't two months ago...

First of all, if you wanted to help I told you to show up @ 1:30am to to pick up flyers to distribute at the doors of the clubs on south beach. Neither you or Pete showed up. And the only thing I could of possibly been rude about is when Pete was mixing and he was playing to loud & causing the system to hum.

Hey I'm not try to start war on this board. If you thought I was rude I apoligize. I never ment to piss you off.

Hey Terry thanx, your a god-send

I appreciate you backing me up.

Does anyone remember "Space Electronic Music Festival" aka "Mecca" behind Club Space with Paul Oakenfold, Bunny & T. Confucious?

That was a NEXO Alpha sound system.

festivalcre8tor was the sound engineer for that festival.

Of course, it's all in the install. Gio, did Infinite do the install?

Drew and I wanted to check the place out a few weeks ago, but it was closed at 8:30 AM???

    thanx for your reply

did you go on a friday? my afterhours in only on saturday.

    thanx sobeton

Geohh your just trying to promote yourself spinning (at least thats what I got from trying to help out). The Place is Big, Loud and pretty nice BUT needs a shitload of improvement, theres no marketing and your never gonna get people to just come to afterhours, you need a total dance night. And alot of other things.

    Pete

Well Pete, you came to me with a home made CD of you spinning and a business card that you got for FREE @ vistaprint.com, just like 30 other DJ's. You didn't do anything to make yourself standout from the rest. As for helping me out. How? You dont have any experience in the nightlife industry except for being a patron. At least that's what I understand from reading your website. As for trying to promote myself spinning. Remember that night you came in and I let you and another dj throw a couple of records? I told you both the system wasn't fine tuned yet and not to turn up the mixer past "8" because you would get feedback from the monitors. Well when you got on the decks you picked the 2 hardest techno records in my crates and you had the system humming to the point that I had to run up to the booth and turn it down on you.

    LOUDER & HARDER ISN'T BETTER!!!

Look I see you have a lot of drive and passion to make it as a DJ

(especially after dropping out of school to move to clubland) you still need to pay your dues. Just cause I didn't hire you doesn't mean you need to start burning your bridges, especially since you moved to Miami recently. DJ's in Miami are a dime a dozen. Stay humble and your time will come.

    Gio
