    soooooo... i would "like" to hear relentless as the closer only if its definate that he will not be playing there anymore, if he is playing there next year then i dont know. i could care less, as long as its good, and denny always makes it good.

    I agree....... if he plans on staying there next year then he can play the hokey pokey for all I care......... BUT - if this is it for him then no other song would suit the very last song at Tempts besides Relentless.

    Nothing else would fit so well with an ending to that place.... :werd:

    This reminds me of the pizzaria down the block from my childhood house called Capriani's...... no one can make pizza like Franco - NO ONE!! The way he would mix the sauce so evenly in with the cheese.... ooooh, I can already see the same booth I used to sit at while I watched the neighboorhood kids playing hopscotch....... I loved Franco.... I loved Capriani's....

    NOW HOW GAY DID THAT SOUND?!?!

    Jesus Christ you people act like such FREAKS. I LOVE Tempts... and I LOVE Denny.... but Im not going to post about the "energy" and the "vibe" and how I will miss it. God - thats so freaking gay that I think I might go make out with a girl after reading it.

    If Tempts is over... say "wow that sucks" and move on. Dont type some drivel about how you felt 5 years ago when he would play Relentless as you stood near Joe Shmoe's bar. Ugh - cry babies..... :ghey:

    and dont give me that "those who know - KNOW" shit.... :ghey::ghey::ghey:

    so................... its been dead.

    As much as I loved (and still LOVE) that place - everyone... and I mean EVERYONE have to admit its just not the same anymore. It would be one thing if this younger generation was even a third of what we used to be at that age............ but they're not.

    Will this be Dennys last year? If so, I hope it gets announced BEFORE labor day weekend so everyone can prepare for it. I think that will be be saddest (and probably SICKEST) closing party in history.

    I appreciate the concern from everyone. It's nice to know that people care about Tempts just as much as I do. This club has been a very special part of my life for 9 years and to see or not see some of my familiar faces these last couple of weeks bothers me. Amazing since Memorial Day Weekend it was mayhem! As written in some posts above, we only have a limited amount of weekends to enjoy Tempts and it's excitement. What makes Tempts so amazing is the connection that I have with my crowd. I feed off of you and you feed off of me. Together we create an energy and vibe that is second to none. Inorder for that to continue everyone needs to do their part. I know I'm doing what I need to do. It's up to you guys to do the rest. I have always said that I will stay at Tempts as long I'm having fun and as long as my crowd still wants me there. I'm hoping that by 4th of July weekend things get back to normal otherwise this may be my last summer there. I would hate to leave a place that I have called home for almost a decade, but I can not bare to see my beloved Tempts not shine like it has for as long as I've been there. That being said, if this will be my last summer there, I want to go out with a bang. So from now until Labor Day, I'm treating each weekend like it's my last. I'm laying it all out in that DJ Booth. Who ever wants to join me, you know where I'll be every Saturday and Sunday.

    Those "Tempts heads" have been going there every summer since it opened in the mid ninties.

    Dude, its 2004 - kind of time to hang up your Tempts hard hat and just chill. Year after year with the same people, same place, same everything was cool for awhile but its time to grow up and leave it to the younger generation.
