Part of the fun of going out is wearing cool clothes. Theeeeese people who wear the same old boring stuff (you know those people) belong with other people who wear the sameeeeee old boring stuff. The same thing happens everytime .. you put something on .. you think it might be "too much" .. but u wear it cuz it's smokin hot, who cares ... u pick up your friends, they say "you're really wearing that?" ... you walk through the venue and then all of sudden every person you'd want to hook up with all of a sudden is shouting "dang!" and grabbing u and wanting to talk with you. The next morning you say - not only am i happy i wore that, i'm wearing it again. Public opinion doesn't lie lol.

East coast and midwest - still popular. West coast - out. BUTTT if you wear them, people don't really care. Just not popular in LA unless you're under 18.

its a beautiful 4 star hotel. not trendy. no "it" factor.

weekdays are great. check to see if the clubs are open those weekday nights cuz some arent sometimes personal suggestion - maybe go labor day instead even though more $$ and more traffic.

Great topic/thread. Could write volumes on this subject. Here's basically a highlight of thoughts. Partying solo Good for: - forces you to be more outgoing to meet people because you didnt come to the club with someone you can talk with. Bad for: - referencing. This town, wrongfully so, is allll about referencing. People always ask you when you are out "who did you come with" which is and isnt relevant. It IS because your friends are a reflection on you. It ISNT because if you like the person you shouldnt care (initially) about what their friends are like. Finally ... No matter what, if you want go out, go out. Dont stay home because you know what ? .... you're going to meet someone special and next time you wont have to party alone - signed Dr. Phil (just kiddin)
