I LOVE being tan but honestly, tanning beds make me hallucinate, which can't be a good sign. Does this happen to anyone else? I still do it sometimes but I'll wait for the sun thanks!

I have a pair of Chanel ones.....But I don´t think they´re really aviators, they just don´t have frames around the lenses and are kinda big. But I like em I think they´re fly.

I end up carrying something pretty much every time I fly. Especially within the States it is usually not a big deal. Keep just a few pills or something on you or in your carryon though, in light of these new checked baggage searches. If you have large amounts though a good way is always to wrap whatever you have in plastic and put in inside an opaque shampoo or lotion bottle and then put that in with all your other personal items.

U.S. educational system is definitely deeply flawed-I don´t know about designed to create factory workers, I think that would be a simplified and cynical statement. I think it is just grossly inadequate. But I don´t think Sweden is fair comparison, since Sweden is a much smaller, richer and ethnically and economically homogeneous country.

This is such bullshit.....it is true that at one time 80% of the heroin in Europe, less in America, originated in Afghanistan, but just because it is one of the surest ways to make money in that region does not mean terrorism is involved. I think the whole Middle East=Al Quaeda equation is so funny. They really are not big producers of any other drug, except for Afghani weed, which can be added to the list with west african, jamaican, Dutch, and American. And why is it that consumers that drive SUV's are supporting terrorism, and the companies that make them in the first place are not?

Word to wisdom......and I'm sorry but 50 cent is NOT hiphop. I think more people like it because they like it! I think hiphop is more diverse then house-I used to not think that until I realized how many people who listened to dance music regularly but were not DJs asked me what exactly the difference was between hard, disco, funky, detroit, electro house etc. was. I think you have to be pretty into it to appreciate it fully. Also, in regards to the assertion that hiphop is popular due to record companies......rock was still the #1 "market" in the US up until like 1999, and you can't say the rap didn't begin to develop or become popular until then. Plus, I live in Mexico City where there is ONE SHELF devoted to hiphop in the largest youth market record store in the city. Regardless, kids here are hungry for it and if you go to any of the countless bootleg CD stands here, which is where most people under 30 get their music, the majority of it is dance or latin rock, but the largest growing segment is hiphop. People will make special trips to seek out the places they can get it, Tepito or this other market on Saturdays. Even though the only club that plays it here is 99% reggae, with maybe two rap songs in a night, there are underground shows and local groups, in a place where the closest you get to radio play is the Dre remix of "I Miss You". I have found this to be true in a lot of Europe as well, even though it has been popular there longer.

Many people that advocate pschedelics for mind expansion say that the ideal is to do it once, and once you have experienced it you can begin to find those pathways within yourself, without the aid of chemicals. the 15% thing actually means that we use 10-15% of our brains conciously. The other 85-90% is used to make the "common sense" decisions that keep us alive and functioning in the world. even a simple thought like "oh, this vase is too heavy to put on that table" requires so many simultaneously complex lines of mental code that it is inconcievable by any scientific standard. So the last frontier of artificial intelligence technology is logic. However, I do think that drugs can help to create art in the sense that experience helps create art, whether it is love or sex or travel or beauty or altered conciousness, or even the experience of addiction itself. Look at Lou Reed. Anyway...my 2 cents;)

I stash my weed in my bathroom kit in a checked bag. If you are really worried or it is more than an eighth or so, put it inside a shampoo bottle. Aspirin bottles work for pills. I usually just put coke somewhere on my body. The only thing you really don't want to do is put anything in your shoes, and if you have a lock on anything, it will probably be opened and searched. These rules have worked for me on international flights too. Good luck!

In response to guyman......is it possible that Jews living in Egypt (your area of reference) are treated differently than Jews living in Tunisia (as Sassa was saying)? In which case you might both be right, eliminating the nedd for a lot of name-calling. Also, in response to the original post I think it is flawed logic to say that Arab nations, if not supported by America, will be overtaken by "Taliban-type regimes", since the Taliban was in fact created, trained and supplied with weapons by the U.S., after which they overtook Afghanistan.
