Whats up guys, I finally got amy equipment together for quite some time,a nd i figured majority of the up and coming (and already up there) dj's on this board would know a good way to be able to record my mixes onto cd... I considered using a cable to connect to my computer and transferring the data to my comp so i can master it on there, but i would rather weigh my other options. If any of you could come up with an idea and a possible price range, it would be greatly appreciated! -C

Honestly, there is an easy way to distinguish. If you go to a club to spend 400 bux on a table to sit down, have your drink, and listen to very vocal, melodic trance, with some epic at the end, the decision would definitely be Tiesto over PVD. HOWEVER~ Trance fans who enjoy standing up and paying 100 plus dollars worth of drinks at the bar, who would rather dance their asses off to epic, hard, and vocal trance, with a hint of breakbeats,would most definitely choose PVD. he is the dj that gets the crowd going, whereas Tiesto wooes the crowd. both are great to see but you could easily tell a tiesto crowd from a PVD one, PVD's crowd would be a bunch of jumping maniacs whereas Tiesto's crowd would be a bit more mellow... <.02> words from yo fave BBJ

lol to the OTHER Eddy G, Whats up dude, its Carlos... BTW- to straighten facts, Jay is his manager. he may not book him at EVERY clubs he plays, largely due to the fact that Eddie has many good friends that love music, and love to spread good vibes when they can. I dont see anything wrong with that. For the record, Jay did not screw that deal up either, he just stood by his prices and what he thought was best for Eddie, and 8 out of 10 times he won. Nothing wrong with that IMO. Not to be rude but to go and compare Eddie to people like George, PVD, and Tiesto is really stupid. Eddie never has had the global coverage and PR that any of those dj's have had largely because he has a family and children, and makes choices on where to play as a FAMILY man. VERY FEW dj's can do that and still stay on top, and i will say this, his tracklisting is TOP NOTCH. Sure he may screw up every now and then..BIG DEAL! PVD's cd's skipped at Space during WMC and last year at Ultra, Tiesto got screwed in the main stage with the sound, everyone has their bad days...if you gave Eddie half the chance to go out and do the things that they do, in a few months you all would shut your mouths. Even as great a dj as Edgar is, he would be FAR more famous if he toured globally, but he stays here for his own reasons as does Eddie does. I dont see anything wrong with that. .02 <---Mine PS- Every trance dj portrays to a certain point, a different outlook on their music...as good as Edgar, or PVD, or Tiesto, or Acosta, or Talla, or Eddie may be (I can name FAR more), they all have their own style, many of these which appeal to you all. My advice is to listen to someone different like Eddie, you may be surprised...I know we all did when we went to Nerve for his birthday last year.. PEACE!

You know what the funny thing is, i may just go and do that it beats being on here dealing with dorks with no life like yourself. You want to know the irony in your statement drsatan? is that you have probably NEVER heard him play live, and only know him as the person who used to close for George Acosta, when in reality, his mixing skills are better, his track selection is MUCH better quality, and he bring alot of energy when he takes on the decks. Just because you like house and some trance dj's doesnt mean that everyone else sucks ass. Its narrow-minded people like you that hurt the scene. and yes, i will say that he has risen above the average local in that he has had the chance to play at some of the best venu's in the United states, headlining many. Since you were not at Nerve last time he was there, save your comment for the upcoming night at the venue, he really will shock you. I am sure he shocked the owners with the amount of people the went and STAYED in the club, both on the dancefloor and VIP. Along with Dj BRuno, a local favorite as well? thats going to be a great nite. in other words.. Dont hate, Participate!

first things first..only 18 and over parties I know of is the Rock the Vote Party with PVD @ Space34, Global Gathering @ the Ice Palace on Saturday, and Ultra...sorry dude, other than that i dont know what else to tell you, other than look around for the Zabiela party during the day, it will be free and i believe a few have all ages welcomed...either that or 18+... hope that helps! I took both Taekwondo and Judo since i was 6,Teaching Taekwondo when i was a freshman in high school, as a Junior Olympic Champion, and have trained recently with former olympian gold medalists (since taekwondo is now a medal sport in the Olympics), one being a gentleman that resides here in miami named Juan Moreno. One thing you should know when you take martial arts, is that they provide a formidable defense but even as the masters tell you, you should not just up and use them during fights. through martial arts you strengthen your body and mind but you should also strengthen your will and wisdom on fighting. Everyone who has successfully taken martial arts knows when they can and cannot fight. They are trained to know. its that simple. And besides, one of the only real ways to survive in a fight nowadays is if you understand the fighting tactics on the ground and on your feet, which is why i took Judo, Taekwondo (korean karate), and Korean Wrestling.
