Hey guys, Thanks to everyone who came out last week for a night of great music at VENU. I'd also like to thank everyone who'se voiced both good and not so good opinions of the night because it has helped us to reorganize things to make the night more enjoyable for everyone, and to improve the quality of the music (although I hear its not much of a factor). Yeah the drink prices are still absurd, but we're working on getting all of that taken care of so don't fret - the DEKLAB boyz are on the case. This week we continue banging things out with one of Boston's best trance DJ's Johnathan DaHood. DEKLAB resident DJ Dres (good ole me) takes the opening duties before John lays down one of his signature sets. This party is going to be awesome. This week enjoy: Ladies Free before 11:30 p.m. Complementary Champagne from 11:00 to 11:45 p.m. DEKLAB & John DaHood , your DJ's for the night As always the dress is casual but neat, the place is VENU @ 100 Warrenton St in the theater district. Good Morning everyone, We at DEKLAB wanted to wish everyone a very happy holiday season. With the whole hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving we didn't have much time to get some warm seasons greetings out. So here's what's up: As always we want to thank everyone for all the support you guys have given us this past couple of months. It's been a bumpy ride for DEKLAB but we keep on coming through and its greatly thanks to the supporters. In turn we'd like to have you guys participate as actively as possible. DEKLAB is looking for promoters to help out with our events. We believe that we can establish an excellent progressive night in the city, but we need your help to make it happen. We aren't looking to make a business out of this, we just want to help promote the underground vibe in the city and its people like you who can help us make it happen. As you all know we are very straightforward and honest and dedicated to our work and we'll take care of anyone who wants to become a part of this. Venu & Nu-Lite welcome Snoop Dog for his CD Release party for "Paid Tha Cost To Be Da Boss". Featuring live performances and a live DJ set by 94.5's DJ Roy Barboza. All that mayhem is taking place in the main room , along with a fashion show of Snoop's new clothing line. In the NUVO room...the DEKLAB boyz will be dropping some progressive sounds to keep that night flowing. There will be a little bit of everything for everyone this night...the DEKLAB guyz have a great show in store and along with Snoop Dog, this is a night not to be missed. Hey everyone, Despite the crummy weather we've had all week, things are lookin up for thursday, and what better night to go out because we got a very special night lined up @ NUVO Thursdays, our weekly residency. This week NUVO and DEKLAB are proud to present, DJ/Producer ... Mark Martini (Dubcoast Music). Mark has recently made headlines with the release of his first track Quandary on Source of Gravity records. With some excellent remix work, Mark's track was played by all the heavy hitters including Digweed, Nick Warren, Steve Porter and others, and gained great favor in south america with DJ's like Hernan Cattaneo. Mark brings a great blend of progressive house with a melodic edge , never letting down, always keeping you on your feet. This is an exclusive event not to be missed. DEKLAB's good friend Matt Cook takes the opening duties this week laying down some techy grooves, warming up the floor for Mark. We've gotten a lot of great feedback from everyone who's come out and things are only going to get better. Greetings from the boyz at Deklab. We wanted to thank all the DJ's who have emailed us about the night, we still need more so get those demo's out to us as soon as possible, we'll be in touch with everyone about future bookings. Last week's Halloween party was a unique experience, but this week we officially kick off NUVO Thursdays, the new Up & Coming DJ night in Boston with your residents DEKLAB. This week we are happy to introduce Johnathan DaHood. Johnathan will be keeping the floor moving with his great selection of deep and progressive trance, he's a great guy with a true passion for his music and will definitely make you guys move. Getting things started this week will be DEKLAB's DJ Dres bringing his signature sound of deep and driving progressive to get things moving on the right foot.
