saleen, that seems to be the case. i heard that there was no one there b4 midnight for the most part, had friends that went in around 11:30 and thats what they told me. then they held the line and let the stampede move in around 1am, but not enough for the patio though...

was a fun night, showed up a little on the late side. i thought that it would have been more packed, but was still busy. they were supposed to open the patio but never did. edgar rocked, pvd still rocked but wish he played a little bit harder like he does sometimes.

come on saleen, the door count? every club exagerates the door count- it is about the oldest standard propaganda tool in the book. maybe 200 went through the door for the several hours that they were open- but there was NO WHERE near 200 people inside at any time when i was there, but nice to see some of the faces i know i guess i will have to take a camera this sunday...

actually- LP has had a girl for a while, engaged if i am not mistaken.

acosta & padilla both have been through ups and downs. acosta is still pretty damn popular around the country, still able to sell lots of cd's if you know what i mean. his following im miami is what seems to be up and down. padilla just isn't given enough respect and opportunities lately. they are both top-notch dj's. anyone who has been to shadow lounge or the mix know what i mean. so if you don't like anything BUT house, then they probably suck to you. to the rest of us who dig trance- these two are masters of it.

pod, please tell us if you would have taken LP and space to court for that? come on now, don't you think that is unrealistic? i love space, as well, as a bunch of other places, but the owners are not known for being nice people. LP is nice to many of you since you guys give them constant publicity on this board and in your conversations. do you know LP personally? well, many of us do, and it does not suprise me that someone was not compensated for something like that. it's all business and you are just a part of the numbers game. besides, LP has threatened his BARTENDING STAFF that they cannot work at places like maze even when they are NOT working at space. he forces his staff from space to go to the lame sunday nerve party- does that sound fair? that is just the beginning... do some homework, get the full story
