  1. I caved in and joined about a month ago. www.myspace.com/noelsanger If you care, and even if you don't, you can listen to some of my new releases there from Baroque, Armada and Release Records. Check the blog for free DL's and such. So far I guess it's a cool thing but I feel like a dork even posting about it so I shall shut up now. noel
  2. yeah basically local enforcement won't bust you but if the feds wanted to they could. and i am sure that under the current administration's overzealous drug office (or under the last one's) they will do just that to make some examples. don't you people realize that a joint can ruin your life?!?!?!?!? havent you ever seen adam carolla's "slippery slope guy?!?!?" =) n
  3. thanks for that, funk! i almost forgot how excellent those lyrics are... i think my site is down atm, not sure whats up but my very excellent webhost is in miami, so there may be power issues. i'll let you guys know when its all fixed. and thank you all again for yr support- and best wishes for all that mess gettin fixedup sooner than later! peace and love... noel
  4. hey guys, many prayers are with ya for some FPL miracles and the like. we went thru 3 of these last year in orlando and my daughter was born during the last one. In a way i know what you are going thru, BUT we always got power back in days not weeks. I can't imagine. so best wishes, and when u get yr power back, hopefully u will enjoy this... ...So I this little remix a couple years ago (Big Country), and one version came out as a onesided vinyl bootleg. I did four versions, though, and have just decided to share them with the world. Why not? I remastered them and they sound better than the original release. all the details are here http://blog.myspace.com/noelsanger go there, read up and click to the link to download the 2005 remasters for free. thank you all for your support! noel
  5. hey guys, I'm posting this on some boards and figured i should share with the ones I read regularly, so here u go... I hope some of u enjoy it... 6. Just a word to the Miami peeps. Jonathan and Chad are class. I know Miami and Atlanta are 2 different monsters, but i wish them the best in this new endeavour. respect n
  7. fair play then. but it used to be downloadable tunes, right? i apologize for my assumption, then, based on the history. good to see you we are on the same page. and, listen, i mean no insult; i wasn't saying that you are just trying to just promote yr self, just commenting on possible appearances. if you have approval from all the artists, then good for you. i stand happily corrected. =) best noel
  8. hey i'm not trying to piss in anyone's cornflakes here, but obby, do you have permission from the labels/artists/producers/COPYRIGHT HOLDERS of those tunes to give them away online? what about the Dj sets that are commercial releases like Balance 004 and Audio Tour? if you have permission from chris to give away product he has for sale on the fade records website, i will be very surprised. or maybe tom from EQ down under would rather you give away his product than he sell it? some of us support families (as opposed to drugs habits) with EDM. if you guys want to support the underground, then you need to support those who give it it's life and vision. i don't know, maybe post a snippett and a link to where these pieces can be purchased. that would be of greater value to convince people that you are actually trying to promote "the underground" and not just promote yourselves. i have never said anything about this stuff before because from what i can tell, other than this nonsense, you guys are pretty cool guys. but listen... you cannot just give away other people's music. it is illegal and unethical. and wrong. and not too smart. if i am wrong, please correct me. thx noel
  9. greg is the man, no two ways about it. miami has no idea what it has, and what it seems to overlook so often. i wish the couple of dozen of you guys on here who always show greg the love could equate to the success he deserves. alas, an artist with substance in a tiny self-important corner of a shallow soul-devouring industry never gets the credit they deserve. my appreciation for stryke runs deep. and i appreciate you guys for always supporting him. it gives me hope for the future of dance music. plus, one time, there were like these pirate ninja aliens trying to incinerate south beach, and like even though nobody would have been mad at him if he let them, stryke used his super lazer eyes and shaolin mind power to like kick them all in the nuts at like the same time and then like, you know how alien ninjas can turn invisible and shit? stryke turned HIMSELF like double invisible so fuckin everybody could see him but the invisible ninja aliens were like "oh shit! we can't see fuckin stryke!" and in their total freakout moment they like totally destroyed each others spaceships! stryke didnt have to lift a finger to like totally repel the invasion let me tell you it was like having ten boners at once. too much? sorry. i wish i could be there on the 24th... but i live in DC now... best n
  10. wow, vaughan, that's awesome... very big congratulations and the absolute best to both of you... noel
  11. especially if everyone realizes how much of his heart and soul greg has put into this (slow coming) club for nearly 2 years. it isnt like he's just some DJ that got a gig there, and is rumored to be leaving. he's an integral part of the whole deal and still, nobody has even made a statement regarding the truth of the matter, not even greg in his response to this post. i'm sure no one meant any harm, but "let's organize and take over the patio" sure sounds opportunistic. also, as much as i would wish differently, if greg does leave nocturnal, i can almost guarantee you all that the replacement will not be progressive house. and damn. anyone that would WANT to be the DJ that had to fill the shoes of stryke... that DJ needs therapy. anyway, greg... i may be opening up for you at la carretta. we're working out the deets on maduros as well, but i am holding out for a corporate apartment- ok well, it's a refrigerator box out back, but it has a great view! peace and love... noel
  12. let me just say that having known thomas for years, i knew he was a good DJ... but we played together this past friday at the sullivan room in NYC, and damn. homeboy exceeded all expectations. totally rocked it. i know he doesnt get to play in south florida that much so it's def worth checking out. props to sotu for bringing him in, too... peace and love noel
  13. ummm... let go and let god? best of everything you guys! n
