I totally agree with you... i was feeling the same thing, but didnt know how to say it. Seriously, you never hear the djs and industry people you mentioned bashing each other... they all present each other very professionally and that is how they became successful to this day. It doesnt seem like they are competing, they do the job they love to do and do it without the drama. They dont get their friends on messageboards trying to say others suck the first chance they get. The DJs should go do their job, try to please the crowd and whatever. The crowd should go there and just relax and have fun. I really didnt see a major difference in the way mike or joe played. It's immature and petty to go back and forth insulting in order to make another dj look better.

I think your talking about Merge not Merger. Stop drinking so much haterade and maybe you can just go out and have fun. The reason why Baldbull probably said you have no class is because you ran on here as soon as u got home to say that mike sucked with no types of exact details. Next time you want to give some kind of critism you should be more specific. Not like you care anyway seems like you're not even giving him a chance since u just want your buddy up there... people need to be more open minded. This was the 1st time i heard joegio spin, but im not going to bash him because there's nothing besides when the music went off that i found to be that critical. I went out to have fun, and thought both djs kept me dancing. If you didnt know joe personally you probably wouldnt even be able to tell when he was in the booth, so i think u better chill out --- you're so excited to see what happens next saturday, and after the new year ... why dont u go out relax and have fun instead of making this some kind of competition.

PVD at Sound Factory???! Last I saw, it was Jonathan spinning with Deborah Cox performing. I doubt JP would really feel like sharing his SoundFactory NYE spot with anyone. He's stubborn haha

A couple friends of mine mentioned they were going to South Park -- is anyone else going? Does anyone have any opinions about it? I've never even been there.. so im clueless.

Overall it was a good night. I was there the 1st night and think that this night was much better. It was well organized, and the crowd was better, and the vibe was better. They definitley learned from their mistakes, and improved. I think the fact that the 1st night was free, made it draw attention to not as great of a crowd.. and tonight had a great variety of people. The 2 djs Joe Giorgio and Mike Loikith made it a good night. A place cant do so well w/o good djs. Having 2 djs keeps the crowd going IMO When there is only one dj i get bored unless they are really good, which is hard to come by in nj. lol The music was a nice mix. Nothing too trancey, and nothing to cheesy. The place started to pick up around 1ish -- and it was good to hear a lil oldie with the "I cant get enough" accapella over "tom tom". I also liked hearing "I wanna dance with somebody". Mike closed with Luz Divina "in your eyes" and ripped the track a new asshole -- i thought i was sick of that it.. but mike worked it nicely and made it a big finish for the night! I really hope the club continues like they did tonight, the music was great, the crowd was good, and it's looking really nice. It's a nice space and has great potential.. i hope it continues to do as well as it did tonight * * * *

hahaha yes that happened to me today! i left my christmas shopping off til i was done with finals.. and today im like lemme go get some done. i get to the short hills mall with great intentions -- but then im looking at clothes for myself realizing i wanna wear something new tonight... and how can u say no when all those sales were goin on. i got no gifts for anyone but myself hahahaha i bought 2 shirts, a pair of pants and a dress hahahaha im a brat, what can i say??? i guess ill try again tomorw

hahahaha PEEN PEEN PEEN -- i never heard music described like that ... if your friend is spinning, it's probably the 4th floor. i know paris spun up there for classics, but i dont know if she always spins up there now. Cleveland is always down in the basement, and of course JP on the main floor. If your friend is spinning anywhere else -- it's gotta be the 4th floor.
